19-year-old Dillon Kirby was booked this morning on an outstanding assault citation from a January assault during which he assaulted another driver in a road rage incident. When the light turned green and the vehicle Kirby was in hadn’t moved, the driver behind them honked his horn. Kirby exited from the passenger door of the vehicle, walked to the victim’s widow, and repeatedly punched the victim, Nathan Cane, in the face causing multiple injuries. Police located Kirby in the parking lot of the nearby InTown Suites and issued him a citation for assault. Kirby was ROR’d until his next court date in January.
23-year-old Kashmere Black-Draine was booked Wednesday on an outstanding warrant charging her with custodial interference. Despite a court-ordered parenting time order she refused to complete a mandated custody exchange in June, would not return any calls or communications to the child’s father, despite actively posting on social media. She is free on a $1,000 bond.
A 22-year-old Ft. Campbell Soldier, Tyreece Stephen, ventured to Nashville for the first time Saturday night. After an altercation in front of the Lucky Bastard Saloon, he would end up a booked and bloody mess. The next day he would post on social media that his first visit to Nashville couldn’t have gone worse.
20-year-old Laila Udoumana (@knownaslailaa) is jailed on a $13,500 bond after a brutal attack on local social media influencer Kailaaa (@kailaaax_). She reports that on June 10th, three females attacked her while inside her car. A video shows Laila busting her windshield with a car jack, slashing her tires, and attempting to break out more windows. Laila then posted to her Instagram, admitting to her role in the assault and stating “I haven’t killed you… yet”
19-year-old Jasmine Scales is free on a $20,000 bond after police say she brutally attacked and beat a co-worker unconscious in the back of a Walmart store on February 28th. Store surveillance video shows her leaving the unconscious female on the floor and casually walking out of the store with the person she arrived with.
Dyquan Anthony Collins, 20, remains jailed on a $10,000 bond, after he is accused of posting a video of his girlfriend’s genitals to Instagram, then assaulting her when she told him to remove it. He says he acted in self-defense.
Samuel Bland, 20, is facing charges after a police say he and accomplice(s) picked up a Snapchat acquaintance who needed a ride, drove him to a parking lot in Bellevue, locked the vehicle doors, and severely beat him until he lost consciousness multiple times.
Juan Posada, 18, asked an Instagram acquaintance to take him to visit his sick grandmother on Monday. The acquaintance picked him up, and was then carjacked at knife-point by Posada and a co-defendant.
One of MNPD’s new officers, sworn to ‘protect and serve’ spent dozens of hours during a recent overnight rotation, serving his personal interests, of posting to social media about how boring his MNPD job was, how he couldn’t stay awake, and finding women to snapchat him while he patrolled Midtown.
