Charles Hardin Jr. punches 13-year-old sister in face during argument over food

20-year-old Charles Eugene Hardin Jr. caused a domestic disturbance with his mother, Victoria Hardin, and his 13-year-old sister at their 25th Avenue North residence late July 24th. The neighbors observed Victoria and Charles having a heated argument over the attack, prompting them to call the police. When they arrived, they spoke with Victoria, who told them that she did not see the attack but that her daughter and Sierra Blount, a witness, said Charles had punched her. Blount added that she heard Victoria and Charles arguing, so she went to see what was happening. Victoria stated this was when she saw Charles punch his 13-year-old sister in the face. His sister provided the same story, saying she argued with Charles over food. She stated the argument escalated when he struck her, leaving a bruise on her cheek. Charles denied hitting his little sister during the argument. Charles Hardin Jr. was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on July 25th.

Jasmine Clark, 28, charged in felony statutory rape of her alleged teenage lover

29-year-old Jasmine Clark is charged with the felony aggravated statutory rape of her alleged lover, a 17-year-old male victim. The age difference between the two is eleven years and 17 days. The victim says he met Jasmine in November 2021 and dated until February 2022, and had sexual relations approximately every other day. Witnesses confirmed the victim would sleep in the bedroom with Jasmine in the apartment they shared; however, Jasmine claims she made him sleep on the floor. Officers were made aware of the relationship when Jasmine completed a report with MNPD stating the two were in a relationship after she was transported to Skyline Hospital. She also claimed to believe he was 21 or 19 years old.

Charles Harville charged in assault of juvenile on Halloween

25-year-old Charles Austin Harville was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday on outstanding warrants charging him with the Halloween assault of a juvenile victim, his girlfriend’s sister. The victim was in her room talking to a friend when she said Harville entered the room, demanding to know who she was speaking to, then took her phone and broke it. He reportedly “bucked up” to the victim before shoving her. She fell from the impact and suffered a bruise on her right shoulder and neck. A few moments later, Harville reportedly attacked her a second time while she was on the floor. Witnesses say he came up behind her and placed his arms around her neck in an attempt to strangle her. Harville fled the apartment before police could arrive, so warrants were issued for his arrest.

Teens Facing Murder & Attempted Murder Charges for shooting at Oscar’s Taco Shop

Homicide Unit detectives this morning charged Dyquan Poole, 19, and Omarian Arrington, 17, with criminal homicide and two counts of attempted criminal homicide in connection with gunfire in the parking lot of Oscar’s Taco Restaurant on Fesslers Lane Friday afternoon that killed a woman and critically injured two men. Jaylen Floyd, 19, is also being charged with evidence tampering after fleeing from an involved vehicle while armed with a gun. The fatally injured female hasn’t been officially identified by MNPD, but close friends have identified her as Destinee (Des/@desbando_). Dillon Bird, 21, and Juan Davila-Hugarte, 18, were critically wounded during the encounter.

Jayla Shepard free on pre-trial release after being found with Glock & marijuana during traffic stop

18-year-old Jayla Shepard faced multiple charges after police say she was the front-seat passenger in a vehicle driven by her 17-year-old boyfriend that was stopped at the I-24/I-40 interchange. Officers immediately noticed a “large amount” of marijuana in the center console area along with some joints. A search of the car revealed a backpack behind Shepard’s seat containing another just over a half-pound of marijuana, baggies, scales, and a Glock 17 with no serial number. The juvenile boyfriend denied possession of any of the items, and Shepard claimed the marijuana was hers “but we both smoke it”, and states the juvenile bought the gun for her, but she was afraid of it. She is free on pre-trial release, charged with two felonies and three misdemeanors.

Metro Police say 19-year-old Bryant Enemecio Cruz-Corrales often climbs through the bedroom window of his juvenile ex-girlfriend to visit her during late night and early morning hours. On November 12th at 5 a.m. court records show he once again visited her while she was sleeping, and bit her on her cheek to wake her up. He asked her to come with him to Virginia to visit his family, and when she told him no he brandished a black handgun and pointed it at her face, saying he would shoot her if she didn’t come with him. She repeatedly told him ‘no’, and he eventually left her home after multiple refusals. He remains jailed in like of a $75,000 bond, charged with aggravated burglary, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
