Brandon Ramirez threatens step-siblings with gun during family argument

19-year-old Brandon Ramirez was seen threatening his step-siblings at his father’s Sunshine Court residence on March 25th. When officers arrived at the mentioned location, they contacted Ramirez’s step-siblings. They stated that their stepfather was arguing with their mother, and he started to get aggressive. In fear for their mother’s safety, they began to throw punches at their stepfather. Ramierez, seeing this, went upstairs and returned with a pistol. After pointing the gun at his step-siblings, he told them to get out of the house. Later, officers made contact with Ramirez’s father. He stated that he and his wife got into an argument, and her children got involved. Ramirez’s father added that his stepkids were attempting to assault him. While dealing with that situation, he saw Ramirez making his way upstairs. Once Ramirez was back downstairs, he pointed the pistol at his step-siblings and told them to get out. Shortly after, officers made contact with Ramirez. Ramirez stated that he saw his step-siblings getting aggressive with his father, who was talking about kicking them and their mom out. His step-siblings began to assault his father, so he went upstairs and grabbed his gun. Ramirez came downstairs, started banging the gun on the wall, and told them to leave. He also informed law enforcement that the pistol was not loaded and that he only grabbed it to scare them. However, Brandon Ramirez was still taken into custody and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

Nicolas Hall throws rocks at someone for burglarizing his car

18-year-old Nicolas Hall threw rocks at Wilmer Meija-Cantarero and his friends at Super 8 by Wyndham on Bell Road late March 17th. When officers arrived, they spoke to Meija-Cantarero, who advised that Hall yelled at him and his friends before throwing the stones. He further explained that he was renting a room in the same hotel and did not wish to prosecute for the incident. Then, officers spoke with Hall, who stated he and his friends were eating at a restaurant, and when they went to their cars, they discovered their vehicles had been broken into. He said that Meija-Cantarero and his friends were standing outside, so he figured they knew something about who had burglarized their cars, which sparked an argument between the two groups. Hall explained that’s when he began throwing rocks at them. Hall was taken into custody for aggravated assault.

Charles Turner assaults boyfriend after being called a “B**ch”

26-year-old Charles Jordan Turner had a domestic disturbance with his boyfriend, Justin Arends, at his Pin Hook Road residence in the early hours of March 11th. When officers arrived, they located Arends at the neighboring residence on Pin Oak Court, screaming in extreme agony with a disfigured shoulder, advising that he called Turner a “B**ch,” which sparked an argument, where he took and destroyed his belongings and told him he was going to get his gun. Then, Arends said he heard a “rack” of a gun and started running out of the back door, and when he started jumping the back fence, Turner pushed him, causing his left arm to get stuck, dislocating his shoulder. Then, he went to the neighbor’s house, called 911, and was later transported to Southern Hills for medical treatment. Turner was taken into custody for aggravated assault.

Aner Bello assaults wife after too many drinks

35-year-old Aner Bello was booked on February 19th after assaulting his wife at their home on Peaceful Brook Drive. When the officers arrived, they spoke with Gissell and Leandro Caroma, who stated that Mr. Bello was drunk and trying to hit his wife, Marie Angel. Marie told officers that her husband had been cheating with another woman, and she told him she wanted him to leave, which made him upset. According to Gissell and Leandro, they plus their uncle, had to jump on Bello when he became irate and charged toward Marie. They, along with several minor witnesses, stated it seemed as if Bello was going to hit his wife. Police determined that Bello was the primary aggressor and placed him into custody.

19-year-old Makayla Driver drunkenly punches mother in head during altercation

19-year-old Makayla Driver was in a group of people that officers observed fighting on Tanglewood Court in the early hours of February 18th. When officers arrived, they noticed Driver reeked of alcohol and was acting disorderly. When officers tried to calm Driver down, she got up and punched her mother in the head. Her mother spoke with officers and refused to provide her personal information. Her mother also did not wish to prosecute for the attack. Driver was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Mylev Davianna Boone slips handcuffs, pushes MNPD officer into wall

20-year-old Mylev Boone was jailed late Friday after an altercation at her home in East Nashville. Someone could be heard screaming for help when officers arrived at the Conviser Drive residence late Friday night. Officers observed the original caller and her daughter attempting to restrain Boone, who was being unruly and threatening. As officers attempted to detain Boone, she became tense and pulled away. She was visibly intoxicated and reeked of alcohol, according to police. She was eventually placed into handcuffs but later slipped them and then pushed another officer into a wall. She was eventually restrained enough to be transported to booking.
