Sophia Sarmiento shows up at boyfriend’s house, attacks him during argument about relationship

27-year-old Sophia Sarmiento was taken into custody for domestic assault on April 20th. Around 11 p.m. on April 19th, Richmond Taylor, Sarmiento’s boyfriend, alerted the authorities that he went to Sarmiento’s Ashwood Avenue residence to talk and try to fix their relationship, which led to an argument, where he decided to leave and walked to his Monticello Street home. Taylor advised that after he returned home, Sarmiento let herself in through his front door because she had the code. They continued to talk about their issues, which caused her to become angry and aggressive, scratching and biting Taylor and leaving visible marks on his neck, chest, and right armpit.

Once Sarmiento left the residence, he called the police. She corroborated Taylor’s statement, adding that when she arrived at his house, she noticed signs of infidelity in his bedroom and tried to capture photos of it, during which he tackled and “choked” her on her bed, prompting her to bite him due to nearly losing consciousness. When he released her, she grabbed her things and left. Sarmiento provided photos to officers, showing the redness to her chest, adding that her finger was injured during the altercation, but she refused any additional medical attention. Officers deemed Sarmiento as the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for the incident.

DUI: Sarah Bihogo drives the wrong way on I-65

20-year-old Sarah Bihogo drove down the wrong way toward oncoming traffic on I-65 South in the early hours of March 17th. Officers observed this and then conducted a traffic stop near Hampton Street and West Trinity Lane. When they approached Bihogo, they noticed she reeked of alcohol and asked her to step out for sobriety tests, which she consented to and performed poorly. When she exited the car before the sobriety tests, the officers noticed a large empty tequila bottle by her feet. After explaining implied consent to Bihogo, she refused repeatedly to provide a chemical sample. Then Bihogo was taken into custody for underage driving while impaired, reckless driving, and implied consent.

Cheyenne Smith caught driving stolen U-Haul truck

20-year-old Cheyenne Smith was jailed on February 17th for driving a stolen U-Haul truck. While police patrolled the Marathon gas station on Trinity Lane, they ran the plates of a U-Haul truck, which came back stolen. Officers then watched as Cheyenne entered the driver’s seat of the U-Haul. After a traffic stop, it was discovered that Cheyenne didn’t have a valid driver’s license and was not responsible for renting the vehicle. Officers attempted to locate the individual who rented the vehicle but were unsuccessful. Cheyenne was taken into custody for theft and driving without a license.

Raquel Harden caught driving stolen Toyota Camry near Marathon Gas Station

31-year-old Raquel Harden was jailed on February 16th after police observed her driving a stolen Toyota Camry near the Marathon Gas Station on Trinity Lane. When officers ran the plates, they learned the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Memphis, TN, by Catherine Reese. Officers observed as the vehicle traveled to the apartments on Whites Creek Pike, where they conducted a takedown. Via a search using Harden’s TN ID, officers learned that Harden had an active felony warrant in Davidson County. Officers also learned Harden also did not have a valid driver’s license. Harden was taken into custody for theft of property, vehicle theft, and driving without a license on February 16th.

Reggie Miller brutally assaults wife when she refuses to smoke weed with him

32-year-old Alabamian Reggie Cameron Miller had a domestic dispute with his wife, Robin Deeann Miller, at The Millenium Maxwell House Hotel on Rosa L Parks Boulevard late December 29th. Both parties were visibly intoxicated when the officers arrived. They spoke with Robin, who was uncooperative and refused to give an account of the events regarding the incident. Still, she advised them that Reggie became upset with her when she refused to smoke weed with him after they returned to the hotel from a night of drinking on Broadway. Carmelo Ferrara and Devin Chase Crager witnessed the incident. They told officers that Reggie was hanging out in their hotel room, which neighbors the Millers’ room, when Robin entered without pants. Then, they got her some clothes while Reggie went to get a hotel key because they were locked out of their room.

When he returned, he became angry, wanting Robin to leave the room with him, went up to her, and struck her in the face twice. Then, they walked into the hallway, where he began to hit her in the face again. Hotel security observed this and immediately alerted the authorities. Officers noticed redness and bruising on her face, a bloody laceration on his hand, and blood on the wall outside their hotel room. Reggie was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault. While in the back of the patrol car, he stated, “I’m going to kill that b*/ch when I get out,” and, “Take the cuffs off, and I’ll beat your ass,” then, he said, “I’ll take you to the death,” and was additionally charged with disorderly conduct.
