Tracy Shankle steals 3 cans of beer from DGX

54-year-old Tracy Shankle was caught stealing at the DGX on December 11th. Officers observed him as he purchased several items but watched him put three cans of beer in his bag before exiting without paying. Shankle admitted to not paying for the beer and was cited for theft. He was booked on the citation on December 22nd.

Gregory Hall ignores no-trespassing signs, booked for trespassing

47-year-old Gregory Lee Hall was sitting on the steps at Plaza Art on Middleton Street on the afternoon of November 1st. Officers patrolling the area observed this, even though the location has multiple visible no-trespassing signs, so they cited Hall. Hall was booked for criminal trespassing on December 1st.

Jarrod Allender was “crying hysterically” after 12+ liquor shots & 3 crashes in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police say 27-year-old Jarrod Allender was “crying hysterically” when they located him inside his Jeep Cherokee in the Music City Center parking garage in downtown Nashville. Allender had just crashed into at least three vehicles in an attempt to exit the garage. When asked how much alcohol he had consumed, Allender stated, “12-13 shots.” He would only suck on the breathalyzer nozzle instead of blowing into it, so that test could not be completed, and a blood draw was conducted at Metro General prior to being booked.

Man arrested after refusing to leave floor of women’s restroom at Bridgestone Arena — Travis Schmidt

31-year-old Travis Schmidt was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday night after he was found laying on the floor inside a women’s restroom at Bridgestone Arena and refused to get up. As officers began to remove him from the women’s restroom by force they realized he was heavily intoxicated, and determined him to be unable to care for himself.

He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Teacher charged with assaulting boyfriend, who was also arrested for being too drunk to get home

A Nashville couple started their Saturday evening partying in downtown Nashville together but woke up in separate jail cells Sunday morning. Witnesses reported Nashville Christian School teacher Leah Riek repeatedly slapped her boyfriend, John Ladd, in the face and police found them heavily intoxicated and lying in a parking lot, too drunk to stand at 6:38 p.m.
