Shakia Davidson jailed after giving false information to the DMV to obtain a driver’s license

Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol were dispatched to the state’s DMV/Driver Services Center downtown on 7th Ave on Wednesday after an alert employee noticed 20-year-old Shakia Davidson was attempting to obtain a duplicate driver’s license using false information & documents. Examiner Selakia Shaw stated that Davidson gave false information to the state center and signed the application stating it was her correct and own information. When the examiner pulled up the photo on file for the information she listed on the application, it was obvious the photo did not match Davidson. Davidson admitted to the crime.

Teens flee from police in Fusion; one attempts to take an officer’s digits when caught

18-year-old Keymanda Woods was charged with assault of an officer and resisting arrest, and 18-year-old Dantay Campbell was charged with evading arrest after they fled from police in a Ford Fusion and Woods bit an officer while they attempted to take her into custody.

Subject of drug trafficking investigation caught trying to sell 2 kilos of heroin

26-year-old Victor Cruz was arrested and charged with felony heroin possession with intent to sell after he was caught attempting to sell 2 kilos of heroin. Cruz has been the subject of an ongoing investigation of a drug trafficking outfit.

DCSO Officers had to rescue ‘Trainko’ from assault & headlock by another inmate while in jail

Local rapper Dyquan ‘Trainko’ Collins was being booked in the Hill Detention Center on March 6th, after he posted a sex-tape of him and his girlfriend on Instagram. While he was in the intake area of the jail, he was assaulted by another inmate, Ladarius Hunter, who placed him in a headlock, which he had to be rescued from by officers.

Narcan used for inmate overdoses every 12 days on average inside Nashville jails

A medical incident earlier in November prompted some questions about how frequently overdoses are happening in Nashville’s jails. So far in 2018, medical staff have responded to, and used Narcan in, a total of 29 cases within Davidson County Jails – once every 12 days, on average.
