Ifrah Sultan speeds down Church Street, uses oncoming lane to pass car

23-year-old Ifrah Sultan was observed speeding near 1st Avenue North and Church Street on August 3rd, 2023. Officers noticed she passed another motorist using the oncoming traffic lane, going 45 mph in a 30-mph zone. This prompted officers to conduct a traffic stop on Interstate Drive. Officers cited Sultan for the occurrence that day. Then, after failing to appear in court, Sultan was booked on the citation of reckless driving on June 4th, 2024.

Matthew Moore jailed after attacking man near Savannah’s Candy Kitchen on Broadway

42-year-old Matthew Scott Moore had an altercation with Ronald Sanders near Savannah’s Candy Kitchen on Broadway Avenue in the afternoon hours of May 21st. Officers nearby observed the fight and approached the area, where they spoke with witnesses, and reviewed footage of the incident. Officers determined that Moore had attacked Sanders, who was bleeding from his arm and had abrasions on his face. One of the witnesses advised them that Moore had been “acting disorderly” and “causing issues all day.” While detaining Moore, he reeked of alcohol and was “obviously under the influence of alcohol.” Moore was taken into custody for assault, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.

Omar Yussuf evades arrest after aggressively panhandling with 15-year-old on Broadway

18-year-old Omar Ali Yussuf and two other unidentified males were aggressively panhandling near Broadway Avenue and Representative John Lewis Way North on the night of May 7th. Then, they stepped in front of and followed multiple people while trying to solicit. Officers observed this and approached them, during which Yussuf and one of the males, later identified as a 15-year-old, ran away and disregarded their commands to stop. Officers eventually caught up to them and recognized Yussuf from previous soliciting incidents, where he had been warned that his actions were illegal. Yussuf was then taken into custody for aggressive panhandling, evading arrest, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Ifrah Sultan recklessly speeds, tailgates other vehicles in traffic

22-year-old Ifrah Sultan was speeding past another car in the heavy rain and traffic at the Church Street and Interstate Drive intersection on the morning of August 3rd. She was also observed tailgating and going 45mph in a 30-mph zone. Sultan was booked on a citation for reckless driving on December 14th.

Landon Butcher drunkenly dances naked in Downtown Nashville

27-year-old Landon Wayne Butcher was in a parking lot in Downtown Nashville, dancing with his clothes off Monday morning. Officers responded and noticed he was visibly impaired, speaking incoherently. Butcher was deemed a danger to himself and taken into custody for public intoxication.

Ifrah Sultan charged after reckless driving in downtown Nashville

22-year-old Ifrah Sultan reportedly drove recklessly on 1st Ave. and Church St. on August 3rd. Police noticed her drive into the oncoming traffic lane during dense traffic and while it was raining. Immediately following that, she was seen tailgating another vehicle at around 45 miles per hour when the posted speed limit was 30 miles per hour. She qualified for a citation due to her having no outstanding warrants or failure to appear. She was booked on the charge of reckless driving on August 29th.

Wesley Long charged with public intoxication in downtown Nashville

43-year-old Wesley Long walked up to officers on Broadway in downtown Nashville Monday night while showing visible signs of extreme intoxication. He had trouble standing and reeked of alcohol. Unable to find anyone to retrieve him, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Wontez Graham brutally assaults ex-lover in downtown Nashville parking garage

29-year-old Wontez Graham brutally assaulted his former lover, Abagail Collier, in the parking garage on 1200 Broadway just before 4 a.m. Monday, causing her to be hospitalized with serious injuries. Although their relationship had ended, the two still maintain a few properties they use as short-term rentals. She arrived at this one to stay the night, believing it was empty and Wontez was out of town. She says as she entered the unit, he immediately pulled her inside and punched her in the face. As she escaped to the elevator, he followed her to the parking garage, where security footage showed him strangling her approximately five times and shoving her to the ground. He then brutally kicks her in the body and face multiple times.

Wontez Graham shot and killed a man in 2020 in another downtown apartment parking garage in what was determined to be self-defense.

Erlyn Daniel Guevara-Andino deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police officers working the Entertainment District Initiative early Saturday morning located 26-year-old Erlyn Daniel Guevara-Andino on Broadway in an extreme state of intoxication. Officers say he reeked of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet, and was a danger to himself if left alone in downtown Nashville.

Woman says husband, Tyler Meadows, threw her “around like a rag doll” in Nashville hotel

A hotel guest contacted Metro Nashville Police after hearing a physical fight in a nearby hotel room and knocked on the door. Officers arrived to find 38-year-old Tyler Justin Meadows, now outside of the hotel room, and his wife, Britney Meadows, was inside the room. Britney stated today was the first day Tyler put his hands on her but referenced a prior assault in their home state of Alabama. Britney had multiple bruises on her armed and legs, consistent with being grabbed, pushed, and impacting sites around the room. She was also bleeding from her foot and had bruising on her face. She stated her husband “threw her around like a rag doll” inside the hotel room. Tyler admitted to hitting and assaulting his wife after he was taken into custody. He was transported to jail, while she was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
