Alabama Tourist Carson Willingham resists arrest during fight involving multiple men on Broadway

22-year-old Alabama tourist Carson Daniel Willingham was one of numerous males observed fighting on the ground near Rep. John Lewis Way South and Broadway around 2:30 a.m. on March 17th. When officers arrived, they tried to detain Willingham but became resistive, disregarding their commands to stop. Willingham was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

DUI: Stephen Gill crashes into semi-truck after drinking at South Nashville bar

28-year-old William Stephen Gill told police he had just left a gay bar South of downtown Nashville, where he had been drinking, when he was in an accident with a semi-truck near the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and Spence Lane. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and refused all other testing and questions. He was taken into custody and charged with DUI.

Jacob Conway squares up to Nashville cop & drunkenly asks “are you ready to go?”

23-year-old Jacob Conway refused to leave Honky Tonk Central late Wednesday night after an altercation inside the bar. Security staff told Conway and a person he was with to leave the venue multiple times before Metro Nashville Police became involved. Officers noted Conway was visibly intoxicated, and as he approached Officer Daughtry, he asked, “Are you ready to go?” and assumed a fighting stance while cursing at the officer. Conway was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Sean Skoglund bounced from Honky Tonk Central during #NHLDraft drinking

37-year-old Sean Skoglund was asked to leave Honky Tonk Central in downtown Nashville after being disorderly late Wednesday night. He became upset and pushed a security staff member, James Pearce, as he was being escorted out of the venue. Metro Nashville Police responded to the door and took Skoglund into custody for the assault.

Gladys Faye Shives Sims, 81, booked on a 29-year-old warrant from 1994

81-year-old Gladys Shives Sims was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday on an outstanding warrant from 1994. The 29-year-old felony warrant alleges she fraudulently used a credit card. There was no additional information immediately available on the case due to its age. She is free on a $1,000 cash bond.

Lamar Williams — drunk and disorderly in downtown Nashville

39-year-old Lamar Williams was the victim of a fight in downtown Nashville Sunday. Officers responded to find him extremely intoxicated and continuing to cause a scene after the fight was over. He was advised to walk away, which he eventually did. Moments later, and less than a block away, officers were flagged down as Williams was now causing a scene inside a bar. He was then taken into custody for public intoxication, but only after several officers had to take him to the ground due to his resistance. He had to be carried into the transported vehicle.

Alabama tourist Tanner Jacobs involved in drunken brawl in downtown Nashville

Police say 23-year-old Tanner Jacobs was in a drunken brawl with another man on Broadway in downtown Nashville just before 1 a.m. Saturday. Officers intervened and took Jacobs into custody for disorderly conduct.

Kameron Wheeler pulls knife on bouncer, asks “do you like your teeth?”

32-year-old tourist Kameron Sean Wheeler walked out of Jason Aldean’s bar Saturday night as they were closing and attempted to go back inside but was denied due to the bar closing. Wheeler became belligerent with Jeremiah Riordan after being told he would have to wait for his wife to exit and he could not re-enter. Wheeler then pulled a pocket knife and threatened Riordan with it while asking, “do you like your teeth?” He is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Elijah Gaines Petty smashes mirror inside Whiskey Bent Saloon bathroom in downtown Nashville

22-year-old Elijah Gaines Petty is charged with smashing the bathroom mirror inside a bathroom at Whiskey Bent Saloon in downtown Nashville. The mirror mayhem occurred on October 16th, and as security detained Petty, he admitted to the vandalism. He was issued a state citation and was booked on that citation this week.

Woman says husband, Tyler Meadows, threw her “around like a rag doll” in Nashville hotel

A hotel guest contacted Metro Nashville Police after hearing a physical fight in a nearby hotel room and knocked on the door. Officers arrived to find 38-year-old Tyler Justin Meadows, now outside of the hotel room, and his wife, Britney Meadows, was inside the room. Britney stated today was the first day Tyler put his hands on her but referenced a prior assault in their home state of Alabama. Britney had multiple bruises on her armed and legs, consistent with being grabbed, pushed, and impacting sites around the room. She was also bleeding from her foot and had bruising on her face. She stated her husband “threw her around like a rag doll” inside the hotel room. Tyler admitted to hitting and assaulting his wife after he was taken into custody. He was transported to jail, while she was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
