Octavio Gomez punches bouncer in face at Nashville Underground

27-year-old Octavio Gomez was denied entry to Nashville Underground on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Saturday morning due to his extreme level of intoxication. He initially walked away but soon returned and punched the bouncer, Steven Derner, in the face. Nearby Metro Nashville Police Officers then took Gomez into custody and charged him with assault and public intoxication.

Jose Gonzalez deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville

29-year-old Jose Gonzalez was observed outside of Mellow Mushroom in downtown Nashville to be highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He could barely stand and reeked of alcohol, according to police. He was offered medical treatment and transport but refused all services. Unable to locate his friends to retrieve him, officers took him into custody and charged him with public intoxication. Once at holding, he vomited everywhere yet continued to insist he was ‘fine’ and just wanted the handcuffs off.

Erika Conover was no match for Nashville liquor at 6 p.m. on a Friday

46-year-old Erika Conover was found by a citizen near 1 Symphony Place in downtown Nashville just after 6 p.m. Friday, extremely intoxicated and unable to care for herself. An officer was flagged down and attempted to assist Conover as she stated she was trying to get to her AirBNB. However, the app on her phone showed she had not yet booked it, and her card on file was declined when she attempted to do so. Conover kept getting drunkenly distracted and telling the female officer how much she loved her during the interaction and begged her not to be mad at her. The officer took Conover to the Moxy Hotel, where she attempted to get a room, but she did not have her credit card available. Unable to locate any of her friends and her having nowhere safe to stay, Conover was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Karla Boykin — too drunk and disorderly for downtown Nashville #Arrested

25-year-old Karla Boykin was observed at 5th & Broadway in downtown Nashville late Saturday night by Metro Nashville Police Officers, who say she was unsteady on her feet, had slurred speech, and was visibly too intoxicated for her situation and surroundings. Officers attempted to help her locate her friend group, but she was unable to assist. She repeatedly gave officers the name of a hotel in France when asked where she was staying. Officers attempted to help her get a room at the Hilton, but she began to randomly throw her body onto unknown individuals passing by.

Drunken tourist Candace Long kicks officer in face after partying in front of Kid Rock’s bar

32-year-old tourist Candace Long was jailed on April 9th after kicking a police officer in the face. Officers working the Entertainment District Unit saw Candace fall down and hit her head in front of Kid Rocks Hoky Tonk. She was heavily intoxicated, unable to stand independently, and could not form a coherent sentence. When she was in the back of the medic UTV, she became combative. Officers tried to calm her down and explain what was happening when she kicked an officer in the face. She then began swinging wildly and punched an officer in the face causing an injury. Officers were eventually able to restrain Candance and place her in custody.

Nick Carver Charged with strangulation of girlfriend in Antioch home

Catrina Lungcharoen says she came home from work Sunday, and after an argument with her boyfriend, 27-year-old Nicolas Carver, became physical, he demanded that she pack her things and leave, though he refused to let her take her things from inside the home. She says while she was inside the entrance of the home, Carver grabbed her neck with both of his hands and pulled her out of the doorway.

Tessa Ballard deemed to be too drunk during Morgan Wallen Concert

Police say 31-year-old Tessa Ballard was highly intoxicated and belligerent when they came in contact with her at Bridgestone Arena during the Morgan Wallen concert in Nashville. Due to her extreme level of drunkenness, she was deemed unable to care for herself and taken into custody, charged with public intoxication.
