39-year-old Derek Hudgens was beating Morgan Wallen’s This Bar with a metal pipe on 4th Avenue North on June 13th. Staff alerted the authorities, advising them that Hudgens had walked away towards Broadway. When officers headed that way, security flagged them down and pointed him out. Hudgens was seen standing in the valet lanes at the Hilton Hotel, holding a metal pipe. Officers approached him and noticed he reeked of alcohol, showing signs of impairment before admitting to having a 40 oz beer. Officers discovered that the Hilton Hotel had an active trespass waiver and detained him for the occurrence. Hudgens was taken into custody for criminal trespass and public intoxication.

19-year-old Easton Forsyth caught underage drinking at Morgan Wallen concert

19-year-old Easton Forsyth reeked of alcohol during the Morgan Wallen concert at Nissan Stadium on May 3rd. Officers observed this as he spoke with them and provided them with his ID. However, Forsyth’s ID showed him being under the age of 21. He was then cited for the occurrence that day. Forsyth was later booked on the citation of underage alcohol consumption on May 28th.

Fans of Morgan Wallen will have to wait even longer to drink at his new “This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen,” which was scheduled to open during this Memorial Day Weekend in downtown Nashville. Though the social media for the bar was still advertising the grand opening as of Friday afternoon, a representative from the restaurant group confirmed to Scoop: Nashville an opening would not happen. In recent weeks, the Nashville Beer Board denied both a catering permit and a temporary permit for the location, as Fire & Codes had also not issued any approvals. In addition to the loss of their sign, which was not approved by Metro Council, it’s been a rocky start for the chair-throwing musician. Approval of permits from multiple departments could delay the opening by several more weeks.

Morgan Wallen jailed after throwing chair from rooftop of Broadway Bar

30-year-old country music artist Morgan Wallen was jailed early Monday morning after throwing a chair from the rooftop of Chief’s, the new bar concept by Eric Church on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Wallen was detained in a Metro Nashville Police cruiser while onlookers took photos and videos of Wallen, who appeared to be screaming through the window. He was transported to the Metro Nashville Jail and booked at 12:36 a.m., charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment/aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, along with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Police say video captured him hurling the chair from the 6th story of the building, landing within a few feet of three officers below. He was reportedly laughing and jovial at the time of the incident. Wallen is free on a $15,250 bond.

Giovanni Bolstad charged with DUI with a handgun after late-night crash

21-year-old Giovanni Bolstad told police he had “one or two beers” at a bar before being involved in a crash on I-40 West in the early hours of Saturday morning. He reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. As he was being taken into custody for DUI, a search of his person revealed a loaded Ruger LCP .380 in his pocket. He later blew a 0.150% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Tessa Ballard deemed to be too drunk during Morgan Wallen Concert

Police say 31-year-old Tessa Ballard was highly intoxicated and belligerent when they came in contact with her at Bridgestone Arena during the Morgan Wallen concert in Nashville. Due to her extreme level of drunkenness, she was deemed unable to care for herself and taken into custody, charged with public intoxication.

Brice Mertiff charged in assault of girlfriend after she leaves him at the Morgan Wallen concert in Nashville.

Erika Dell says she and her boyfriend of the past year, 35-year-old Brice Mertiff, were at the Morgan Wallen concert in Nashville when she left him there and returned to the hotel to go to bed. Once the concert was over and Mertiff returned she says he woke her up by throwing a drink at her, soaking her upper body, upset because she didn’t stay with him. He became so irate that she began to pack her things to leave him at the Grand Hyatt Hotel where they were staying on Broadway. He reportedly tackled her to the ground as she fled to the elevators, and she struck him with a cell phone in self-defense, and a bystander assisted the victim as she was screaming for help with him on top of her. Security footage captured the entire incident and was reviewed. Mertiff was charged with domestic assault and sent home to Pennsylvania on a $2,500 cash bond.

Florida Man jailed after attempting to sneak back into Morgan Wallen concert — Jared Carroll

Metro Nashville Police say 36-year-old Jared Carroll was at the Morgan Wallen Concert at Bridgestone Arena and was trying to access the floor area of the concert, for which he did not have access tickets. After he attempted to bypass a barrier, security asked him to leave the concert. He took a fighting stance and attempted to escalate the situation, and was removed and trespassed from the property. Moments later, he attempted to re-gain entry to the venue and was taken into police custody.

Jacqueline Wolf found drunk & belligerent at Morgan Wallen concert in downtown Nashville

25-year-old Jacqueline Wolf was at the Morgan Wallen concert in downtown Nashville Friday and was in someone’s seat. When asked to produce her own ticket to verify where she was supposed to be seated she became extremely belligerent and yelled and swore at staff. She was heavily intoxicated and admitted she was “a little drunk”. She was turned over to MNPD who charged her with public intoxication.
