Eric Nichols, 28, shot and killed a man on I-65 South Friday afternoon during a roadside scuffle stemming from a road rage incident. On 08/03/2017 NCSU executed a narcotics related search warrant at 1508 24th Ave North. At the time detectives executed the search warrant the home owner, Ansona Ricardo Donelson, was not present at the location; however, his cousins Tarvarius McDowell and Thomas Jones were present. McDowell was taken into custody inside the residences’ living room and Jones was taken into custody inside his vehicle which was parking in the driveway. Jones was observed by Det.
