Hermitage Precinct officers Friday evening arrested Montarius Bean, 20, on a grand jury indictment charging him with voluntary manslaughter for the Christmas Day 2018 fatal shooting of Alijah C. Williams, 18, on Creekview Drive.

With authorities in three counties looking for him, 32-year-old Andrew Brandon Christian didn’t have many places to go. On Wednesday, he decided to park his Silver GMC truck with a purple topper in the parking lot of the Bellevue Cleaners on Old Hickory Boulevard, and that’s where he spent the day.

Kasandra ‘Kassy’ McNeese was arrested overnight as she attempted to do some return fraud at a local Walmart. MNPD responded to Walmart regarding a shoplifting incident. Walmart loss prevention observed the McNeese select numerous items from the store shelf and proceed to customer service. McNeese then pretended that she had bought the items previously, and wanted a refund. The employee at customer service proceeded with the refund, giving her $41.79 for the stolen goods.
