Man claims Koala bear is sending electric shocks, knocking phone out of his hand — charged with misuse of 911

39-year-old Anthony Hodge called 911 fourteen times in two hours from Five Points in East Nashville Sunday night. He told dispatchers that a Koala bear was sending electric shocks to knock the phone out of his hand. He is charged with making non-emergency calls to 911.

Lebanon man claims Sumner County Commissioner forced him to withdraw money from ATM; calls 911 & chases him

Lebanon Police say 21-year-old Travis Gaither called 911 and claimed Sumner County Commissioner & State Representative candidate Luke Tinsley forced him to withdraw cash from an ATM and give it to him. Gaither then chased the vehicle, providing updates to the dispatcher, asking police to meet him at Tinsley’s house. The investigation showed the money was a loan, and he didn’t think he had to pay it back. He was charged with misuse of 911 and possession of the marijuana in this glovebox. Gaither is Tinsley’s former campaign manager for his State Representative run.

Vivid Musi Group artist ‘Ladonn’, legally Bryan Ladonn Covington, led middle Tennessee police in a car pursuit last Friday, during which he called 911 and stated: “I’m not stopping or pulling over until I get to the probation office and we can deal with it there”. Police eventually stopped him, and he rolled up his window on the arm of the officer attempting to extricate him from his vehicle.
