Florida Man charged with DUI on way to a concert in Nashville — Stephen Reck arrested

38-year-old Stephen Reck had a flat tire and pulled onto the side of the interstate — and a short time later a TDOT assistance vehicle arrived to help the stranded motorist. While helping the citizen, the TDOT employee noticed Reck was visibly intoxicated and notified police. Reck told responding officers he was on his way to a concert and admitted to drinking prior to driving. He would later blow a 0.234% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Metro Nashville Police say 36-year-old Jared Carroll was at the Morgan Wallen Concert at Bridgestone Arena and was trying to access the floor area of the concert, for which he did not have access tickets. After he attempted to bypass a barrier, security asked him to leave the concert. He took a fighting stance and attempted to escalate the situation, and was removed and trespassed from the property. Moments later, he attempted to re-gain entry to the venue and was taken into police custody.

Florida man arrested after punching bouncer, breaking his glasses at Nudie’s Honky Tonk— Michael Diaz

22-year-old Michael Diaz was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail this week after he was involved in a fight on the rooftop of Nudie’s Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville. Security attempted to break up the fight, and Dian reportedly grabbed onto the outer carry vest worn by the security guard, Charles Farris, then punched him in the face and broke his glasses.

Diaz, of Florida, is free on a $2,500 bond.

29-year-old tourist Jacob Bennett, from Florida, was booked into the Metro Nashville jail just before midnight Thursday after causing a scene at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative (EDI) observed him in a verbal altercation with security staff as he attempted to enter an exit door of the venue. He was asked to leave the property and refused and was eventually taken into custody for public intoxication. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest after he pulled his hands and arms away from being cuffed, and it took multiplied MNPD officers to subdue him into custody. Bennett is free on pre-trial release.

The couple, 36-year-old Robert Hansen, and 34-year-old Jamie Hansen, were at Honky Tonk Central when police say Jamie tried to leave the bar with her alcoholic drink in hand. As security prevented her from going onto Broadway with an open container, her husband took that as his chance to scuffle with them, on his wife’s behalf. Eventually, police had to be called as both parties were reportedly belligerent, yelling, and excessively drunk. The pair were charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.

Former MNPD Cop, now Florida Man, charged after smashing adult daughter’s phone, twice — Ryan Sledge

49-year-old Ryan Sledge, a former MNPD Officer who now lives in Florida, found himself in a Nashville Jail Tuesday morning after what was described as a “domestic disturbance” at Jonathan’s Grille which began late Monday night. Witnesses report observing Sledge smash his daughter’s phone on the ground twice after an altercation. Sledge admitted the phone was initially in his daughter’s hand, and he pushed the phone, but would not elaborate more than that. Ryan Sledge was booked and released in just over 2 hours, posting a $1,000 cash bond.

Woman assaulted by Florida tourist in reported rape attempt; He’s jailed for 153 minutes before pre-trial release — Patrick Schiebel

As a young woman walked alone in Midtown late Monday evening, she says a man began to “cat all” her, and as she continued past him she says he firmly grabbed her arm. As she began to fight back, he reportedly told her he was going to rape her. She was able to break away from the man, identified as 30-year-old Patrick Schiebel, and flee to a nearby apartment building with a visible concierge who let her inside and called 911. Metro Nashville Police officers located the man but refused to charge him themselves since they didn’t witness it. MNPD escorted the victim to night court, where a magistrate signed a simple assault private prosecution warrant. The tourist was jailed for 153 minutes before being given pre-trial release and set free, despite a magistrate setting his bond at $10,000.
