Kiya Townes posts video of boyfriend’s ex performing oral sex on him, tells her “Quit texting my bd!”

21-year-old Kiya Alexis Townes was taken into custody for three counts of unlawful exposure and harassment on April 18th. On October 2nd, 2023, Townes’s boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend, reported to police that Townes had been posting an old video of her performing oral sex on the ex-boyfriend. The ex-girlfriend notes that her face is clearly identifiable in the video. She added that Townes posted the video in a Facebook comment on her page and shared it multiple times. After executing a search warrant on Townes’s Facebook and Instagram, officers discovered that she shared the video three times on September 30th, 2023, one at 10:33 p.m., another at 10:35 p.m., and then 12:50 a.m. Then, she provided officers with screenshots of messages between her and Townes’s Facebook account, where Townes told her, “I am hurt, so yeah I sent a video out.” She also showed officers screen recordings of Townes harassing her though texts and social media. In one of the threads, she told Townes to stop contacting her and to leave her alone. To which Townes responded, “F*ck you fat a** b*tch. Quit texting my bd!” The harassment continued for an extended period of time so officers obtained warrants for Townes’s arrest on March 1st, 2024.

Karla Christian steals over $10,000 from Kroger

A Davidson County Grand Jury indicted 57-year-old Karla Elreta Christian for theft on September 22nd, 2021. The indictment alleges that Christian, between the 14th day of March 2021 and the 16th day of March 2021, In Davidson County, Tennessee, before the finding of this indictment, knowingly obtained or exercised control over certain property, to wit: a sum of money, of the value of $10,000 or more but less than $60,000, the property of Kroger, without the effective consent of Kroger, with the intent to deprive Kroger of the property. Christian was taken into custody on December 18th.

Alexander Airhart charged in rape of woman he brought home to “show her the architecture”

40-year-old Alexander Airhart took the victim, D. L. M., home with him from a bar on July 22nd to show her the architecture where he raped her, the victim stated. She disclosed the incident to police at Vanderbilt Hospital on July 23rd, where they responded to a sexual assault call. She said on the night of July 21st, she, Alexander, and his unknown friend were at a bar when Alexander invited her to his house on Battlefield Dr. to “see the architecture.”

She said yes, and had a couple of sips of a drink that Alexander made her while his friend slept on the couch. After a little more socializing, she stated that she wanted to leave, but Alexander convinced her to stay the night due to her drinking and being unsafe for her to drive. Again, she agreed, and Alexander offered for her to stay in his bed since his friend was on the couch. While they were upstairs in Alexander’s room, she said that she felt sick and was sitting on the edge of the bed when Alexander began taking her clothes off. She told Alexander, “Please don’t do this. I don’t want this,” as he reportedly ripped her pants off. She told him she was about to vomit to get him to move away from her.

He went into the bathroom, so she tried to exit the room. He saw this, pulled her into the bathroom, and then put her pants and purse in the bedroom. Entering the room again to grab her items, the victim stated that Alexander began pushing her, eventually getting her onto the bed despite her attempts to fight him off. During the struggle, Alexander got on top of her and pushed her legs apart, forcing his member into her mouth by prying her mouth open. She stated, “Please stop,” but then decided to “let it happen” so it would end sooner. He then penetrated her sexually as she said she pleaded with him to stop, but she blacked out soon after that. When she awoke, she said she was in the same room, and was bleeding from the forced penetration. On July 23rd, she went to Vanderbilt and completed a Medico/legal-examination (rape kit). The report stated that she had bruises on her collarbone and redness on her vagina.

Kevin Brown indicted on rape and harassment charges

29-year-old Kevin Brown of Mississippi, on July 21st, bonded out of jail on an $85,000 bond after being indicted for two counts of rape and one count of harassment. It is alleged that the two counts of rape were committed on June 29th of 2022, and the harassment was on the same day and October 11th of 2022. The indictment was filed with the Davidson County Criminal Court Clerk on May 31st, 2023, and he was booked on July 14th.

DUI: Jamie Westerhoff blows 3x BAC limit after crashing into tree

Nashville Police say 43-year-old Jamie Westerhoff drove her car into a tree next to oncoming traffic early Wednesday. She was sitting in the driver’s seat with the vehicle still in drive when officers arrived. She was unable to provide police with words in any order that made much sense, but she did blow a 0.247% BAC on the breathalyzer — over three times the legal limit in Tennessee. She was too intoxicated to perform field sobriety tests at the scene without being a danger to herself.

Zain Sheikh charged in strangulation of cocaine case co-defendant, Kally Dobak

31-year-old Zein Sheikh was out on a $75,000 bond for cocaine charges when he was arrested again this week, now additionally charged with felony aggravated assault/strangulation of his co-defendant in the cocaine case, Kally Dobak. He also had Kally arrested for assault the week prior to them both being indicted on the cocaine charges. In the new case against Sheikh, which was captured on building security cameras, he comes into the hallway in his underwear and pulls Dobak into their apartment, placing her into a choke-hold during an argument.

Birthday boy calls police on his girlfriend when he is “unable to handle” her — Jada Smith arrested

Steven Gates told police he had his girlfriend, 22-year-old Jada Smith, to his home Tuesday night for his “birthday celebrations”. He says Jada became “belligerently drunk” and began to argue, and he felt he was “unable to handle” the situation and called police for assistance and asked them to remove Jada from his home. Officers offered Jada a ride home multiple times or to even arrange a ride for her if she was uncomfortable riding with the police. She refused all offers of assistance, refused to leave, and eventually had to be separated from Mr. Gates as she was coming at him. As officers decided to place her into custody for trespass she fought them and tried kicking officers in the face. She refused to walk to the patrol car and had t be essentially carried, and then placed inside as she refused to get in the car.

As a young woman walked alone in Midtown late Monday evening, she says a man began to “cat all” her, and as she continued past him she says he firmly grabbed her arm. As she began to fight back, he reportedly told her he was going to rape her. She was able to break away from the man, identified as 30-year-old Patrick Schiebel, and flee to a nearby apartment building with a visible concierge who let her inside and called 911. Metro Nashville Police officers located the man but refused to charge him themselves since they didn’t witness it. MNPD escorted the victim to night court, where a magistrate signed a simple assault private prosecution warrant. The tourist was jailed for 153 minutes before being given pre-trial release and set free, despite a magistrate setting his bond at $10,000.

Nashville Bartender charged after repeatedly punching girlfriend in face, assaulting her on multiple occasions

29-year-old Joshua Mantooth is charged with felony aggravated assault/strangulation and misdemeanor domestic assault after his girlfriend reported he punched her repeatedly in the face on the drive home, and then strangled her over and over once back at their residence. Police found the victim’s face cut open, bruised, swollen, and still bleeding when they arrived… but court documents now reveal that wasn’t the only time he’s been abusive against women.

Drunk man jumps from roof of Nashville gay bar, goes on rampage against parked cars

25-year-old Tyler Anderson is charged with public intoxication and vandalism after police say he lost his shirt and scaled a fence at Play Dance Bar. When he reached the roof of the club, he jumped onto the pavement below, and took his drunken rage out on at least 5 vehicles, knocking off mirrors and vandalizing them.
