DUI: Rapping Realtor Houston Parks says he got high “minutes before driving” — Weed & Cocaine

35-year-old Nashville Rapper & Franklin Realtor Houston Parks told Metro Nashville Police he smoked marijuana “minutes before driving,” according to an arrest warrant obtained by Scoop: Nashville overnight. He also confirmed the powder in his pocket was cocaine. Parks maintains an active real estate license with the state despite a 2006 DUI and drug possession charges, a 2007 charge for selling ‘woo’ (fake cocaine) and fleeing from police, a 2009 MNPD Undercover Information operation that caught him with a felony amount of cocaine, and yet another DUI charge in 2010. Zain Sheikh charged in strangulation of cocaine case co-defendant, Kally Dobak

31-year-old Zein Sheikh was out on a $75,000 bond for cocaine charges when he was arrested again this week, now additionally charged with felony aggravated assault/strangulation of his co-defendant in the cocaine case, Kally Dobak. He also had Kally arrested for assault the week prior to them both being indicted on the cocaine charges. In the new case against Sheikh, which was captured on building security cameras, he comes into the hallway in his underwear and pulls Dobak into their apartment, placing her into a choke-hold during an argument.

MNPD says tourist slapped her fiance; He says she was smacking a fly — Mary Hatley arrested

MNPD Officer James Thornton was driving downtown when he says he says he had to stop his patrol car and make an immediate arrest after he says he observed a 21-year-old tourist Mary Hatley hit her fiance in the face with an open hand. The victim, Shane Cole, had no injuries, did not make a complaint, did not want to press charges, and says the officer misunderstood what he believed he observed, and his fiance was simply “smacking flies from his face”. Hatley posted a $1,000 cash bond after the state-mandated 12-hour domestic violence hold.
