23-year-old Jace Gray and his friend, DeāAndre Barbee, caused a disturbance at Margaritaville around 2:13 a.m. on July 14th. Security at the location told responding officers that Gray and Barbee had been drinking at the bar all night. Gray overheard a woman say she had her phone stolen, which was when Gray approached security, demanding they check the cameras. When security informed him that they would have management review the footage, Gray became irate. Security then told him he needed to leave the bar. After Gray refused, security grabbed and shoved him outside the bar, sparking a scuffle between them. When officers tried to detain Gray, he started resisting until they performed a controlled takedown. While they escorted him to the patrol car, he dropped his body weight, refusing to be escorted. Officers then picked him up from the ground and into their vehicle. During their interaction, they noticed he reeked of alcohol and was visibly impaired. Gray was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.

Tristan Becker drunkenly accuses officers of voting for Obama after altercation with driver on Broadway
39-year-old Tristan Becker was seen publicly intoxicated near Friends in Low Places bar and the Police Precinct on Broadway on July 6th. Officers responded to the area of the bar regarding an assault about a vehicle incident that occurred on another part of the Broadway strip. Officers were informed that initially, the incident may have happened near the Friends in Low Places Bar and then the Police Precinct. Officers made contact with Becker in front of the Precinct. Officers then noticed the smell of alcohol coming from his breath as well as his bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech, and inability to walk. In addition to this, Becker admitted to officers that he was drunk. While officers attempted to speak with Becker about the incident, he became argumentative. Becker began insulting officers, as well as talking about irrelevant topics, such as accusing officers of voting for Obama, mentioning George Floyd, and speaking about UFC fighters. Becker did not know where the situation occurred and changed the location several times when he tried to provide officers with a statement.
Becker told officers that he was dragged 200 feet by a vehicle on a crowded Broadway Street; however, there were no witnesses to this statement as it was false. Officers then asked Becker if he would like to make a report. Becker began insulting and interrupting officers during the process. Becker then gave his ID to officers to make a report. After this, Becker proceeded to walk away shortly after telling officers he didn’t want his ID back and that he no longer needed police services. Officers attempted to give him his ID back, but he wandered off aimlessly. Officers then determined he was too intoxicated for his own safety, so he was taken into custody for public intoxication. Officers made contact with the other party involved, who told officers that he was driving slowly through traffic on Broadway. The man said he saw Becker crossing the sidewalk, and Becker became angry at him. Proceeding this, Becker walked up to his car, banged on it, approached the driver’s side window, and cursed at him. The driver then claims that Becker then reached into his vehicle and attempted to punch him, causing him to flee the scene to avoid conflict. For these reasons, Becker was then transported and charged with public intoxication
Wesley Gregory drunkenly resists arrest after being unable to stand at Jack’s Bar-B-Que
21-year-old Wesley Gregory was observed to be publicly intoxicated and resisting arrest near Jack’s Bar-B-Que on July 6th. Officers noticed Gregory possibly fighting with his brother and moved to intervene. When officers approached Gregory, he pushed them and backed away. Gregory tensed up as he told officers, “Keep your hands off me.” Officers then placed Gregory in handcuffs and realized he wasn’t fighting his brother. Officers learned that Gregory’s brother was supporting him because he was too intoxicated to stand or walk. Officers noticed Gregory’s unsteadiness while walking, his bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and the smell of alcohol on his breath. As a result, Gregory was arrested for public intoxication. While he was being taken to the officers’ vehicles, Gregory stated, “Turning 21 and buying girls shots in Nashville doesn’t make me publicly intoxicated.” Gregory resisted arrest and was additionally charged with resisting arrest.
Jasmine Rugante assaults sister after urinating on herself at Riverfront Park
24-year-old Jasmine Venya Rugante was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication at Riverfront Park on 1st Avenue South and Broadway on May 26th. Around 1:40 a.m., Ruganteās sister told officers that Rugante thought that their other sister said something āslickā to her after she urinated on herself while drinking, which sparked a scuffle between them. Rugante’s sister said she did not know who initiated the altercation because it happened so fast, adding that she was just there and intervened to break it up. The other involved sister stated that the three were walking as a group when Rugante peed herself. She said that Rugante thought they were talking down to her behind her back and advanced on her. This started the scuffle between them, leaving scratches on her neck and clavicle and ripping the left strap of her dress. Rugante’s other sister said she was not in pain and did not want to press charges. Then, officers spoke with Rugante, who stated that she thought her sisters were talking bad about her because she urinated on herself and said, āThey know how I get when I am drinking.ā She could not remember who initiated the fight. She was later detained for the occurrence.
George Thomas charged after slapping multiple women’s butts, being “unreasonably annoying”
27-year-old George Mathew Thomas was taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct on May 11th. Officers were approached by a group of females, who advised them that Thomas was slapping their butts and was being āunreasonably annoying.ā When officers located him, they noticed he reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. The group of females did not wish to prosecute for the incident. Thomas was then detained for the occurrence.
Karim Adhem caught attempting to put his hand up woman’s skirt at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk
36-year-old Karim Adhem had an altercation at Kid Rockās Honky Tonk in the early hours of February 2nd. Security at the bar flagged officers down and advised them of the incident. Upon arrival, they observed Adhem showing signs of intoxication. Officers spoke with the other individual involved in the incident, who told them he heard a woman on the 4th floor behind him telling someone to stop. He turned around and saw Adhem with his hand up the femaleās skirt. So, he pushed Adhem away from her. Then, Adhem grabbed his left wrist, refusing to let go until security intervened and detained him. The woman did not wish to press charges or give any information, and Adhem was too intoxicated to prosecute, so officers gave him a complaint card with the following details.Ā Adhem was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
Adam Bozeman jailed after fight in downtown Nashville
25-year-old Adam Bozeman was observed fighting with two other individuals in the middle of the intersection at 3rd & Broadway in the early hours of Sunday morning in downtown Nashville. He swung at one of the individuals with a closed fist and missed. The victim then stepped up and pushed Bozeman back onto the ground. As Bozeman started the altercation, he was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct. The victim didnāt wish to prosecute for the assault.Ā
Tyler McDuffie booted from Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville
23-year-old Tyler McDuffie was kicked out of Kid Rocks’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville just before 1 a.m. Saturday after assaulting security staff. After being trespassed from the venue, McDuffie returned while extremely intoxicated. Nearby officers took him into custody and charged him with criminal trespass.
Nathaniel Reed vandalizes woman’s car when he’s unable to ‘make the baby batter’ ā $5K bond
49-year-old Nathaniel Reed is charged with vandalism after he broke the taillight on a woman’s car after his ‘little friend’ was unable to unlock the ‘ultimate achievement’ due to his level of intoxication. Officers responded to the call just before 2 a.m. Friday and met with Frances Warren, who was distraught and in distress, stating that Reed was upset and drinking alcohol and became irate toward her when he was unable to ‘make the batter’ while they were intimate. She says he went outside the residence and she heard something break, and when officers arrived, it was discovered Reed had shattered the tail light on her vehicle.
Madalyn Rogers charged in assault of friend & breaking a police car
Metro Nashville Police responded to a domestic disturbance call to find 23-year-old Madalyn Paige Rodgersactively attempting to break through a bedroom door. Behind the door was her friend and former roommate, Kerri Lyn Myers. Police believe she was intent on further assaulting Myers were she to break through the door. As officers attempted to restrain and detain Rogers, she pulled away with her arms flailing and dropped her body weight to the ground, refusing to be cuffed. Eventually, she was taken into custody and placed into a patrol car for transport, where she kicked and banged on the window until she displaced it.
