Rapper Roman ‘BuckBills’ Swanagan jailed on cocaine & gun charges

33-year-old Roman Swanagan, locally known as rapper ‘BuckBills,’ was jailed Friday night after police found narcotics and a handgun during a traffic stop. Swanagan was driving a silver Audi that was going 80 mph in a 70 mph zone. The vehicle smelled of marijuana, and the passengers explained they had just left a location where people were smoking weed. During a search of the vehicle, officers located 4 grams of cocaine. A Ruger handgun was found under the driver’s seat. A second handgun was found in the center console, which was claimed by a passenger. Swanagan was in possession of over $7,000 cash and two cell phones which police say is a common indicator of street-level narcotic sales. Swanger denied using narcotics.

Damondre Hayes faces cocaine, handgun, and marijuana charges after traffic stop

19-year-old Damondre Hayes faces multiple weapon and drug charges after an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle he was a passenger in on January 26 when the license plate returned as not on file and did not have a functioning license plate light. As officers approached the red Nissan Altima, a bag of marijuana was in plain view in the front seat. All occupants were removed, and Hayes was found with 5.5 grams of cocaine, 31.6 grams of marijuana, and a Glock handgun.

Terrelle Butler charged in theft of vehicle in East Nashville

19-year-old Terrelle Butler is free on a $15,000 bond after he was found driving a stolen 2018 Jeep Compass in East Nashville on June 8th. He was initially observed driving the vehicle by police the day prior to his arrest. At the time he was taken into custody he had just exited the vehicle, discarded the keys, and had entered an apartment on Porter Road.

Nashville man runs when officers positively identify him as an armed individual

20-year-old Kesean Smith was charged with evading arrest, felon in possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a weapon when police approached him based on him “displaying characteristics consistent with an armed individual”. Smith ran from police and when they caught him, they found a handgun in the immediate area.
