Terrinesha Kimbrough steals $513 in merchandise from multiple stores with juveniles at Opry Mills Mall

18-year-old Terrinesha Chrishay Kimbrough and four juvenile females stole merchandise from Spencer’s and Five Below at Opry Mills Mall on April 14th. When Kimbrough and the four others entered Spencer’s, they were captured on camera concealing t-shirts and hoodies in a bag. A store employee, Rachel Kuhn, observed this and approached them, asking for the items back. Kuhn reached for a bag she believed contained stolen merchandise. Kimbrough then kicked her in the back before running away from the mall. Kimbrough was promptly detained for shoplifting, where officers recovered 20+ items from Five Below, totaling $192.24. Additionally, they located ten items from Spencer’s, totaling $320.90. Kimbrough was taken into custody for two counts of theft, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and assault.

Samuel Ravnaas too drunk and disorderly for Broadway

27-year-old Samuel Ravnaas was walking into a closed and barricaded construction area in the early hours of Friday morning, near where a bridge was under construction. He refused to stop for police and ignored the construction workers. Eventually, an officer had to use his patrol car to block his path. Upon contact, Ravnaas reeked of alcohol and was unable to care for himself.

VIDEO: Street Racer Jacob Derryberry jailed after shining laser light at police helicopter

21-year-old Jacob Derryberry was part of a large group of street racers in a parking lot on Corporate Way in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police had a helicopter in the area documenting the cars and crowd. Derryberry reportedly shined a laser beam, which was attached to a BB gun, at the occupants of the police helicopter. Derryberry then fled Corporate Drive and drove to Thorntons on Old Hickory Blvd, where pilots were able to direct ground officers to the vehicle. Video from the helicopter shows Derryberry moving from the driver’s seat into the passenger’s seat as offices arrived. Derryberry was also in possession of marijuana and had minor passengers in the vehicle.

Nashville Police charge Isaiah Yancey with 0.5 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop

24-year-old Isaiah ‘Zay’ Kahlil Yancey was booked on a citation this week after Metro Nashville Police found 0.5 grams of marijuana inside his gym bag during a traffic stop outside the Mercy Lounge on July 22nd for alleged expired tags. Officers say there was a “strong smell” of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and when asked, Yancy volunteered that there was a small amount of marijuana in the Altima.

DUI: Robert Coleman drove up onto sidewalk where cops were standing for a road closure

Police say 65-year-old Robert Coleman drove his vehicle through a crosswalk, onto a sidewalk, and continued to where officers were standing for a road-closure setup. Coleman was reportedly confused and stared at police officers with a “dazed look”. He was heavily intoxicated and had to brace against the car when he exited. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and blew a 0.196% BAC on a breathalyzer.

He was transported to jail and charged with DUI.

Man throws syringe out window; charged with tampering of evidence

27-year-old Jonathan Galindo was charged with possessing a suspended license and tampering with evidence after he threw a syringe and baggie out of the window before the driver sped away from the traffic stop.
