Rhonda Cain jailed after filling nitrous oxide balloons in downtown Nashville #Phish

35-year-old Rhonda Cain of South Carolina was seen near the Walk of Fame Park near the Phish concert in downtown Nashville. Officers described a sea of fifty to a hundred people all filling and inhaling inflated balloons filled with nitrous oxide. Officers noticed that some were talking about how high they were, others were quiet, and some were even actively vomiting. 

Cain was noticed by officers allegedly filling balloons for people out of the back of a black wagon before handing them off to multiple individuals. Upon noticing officers, Cain reportedly dropped a balloon and removed her hand from the nitrous oxide canister. Although she attempted to distance herself from the canister, officers brought Cain in on the charge of distributing toxic vapors.

Joseph Tannous assaults cop who retrieved his fake ID from Barstool Sports

20-year-old Joseph Tannous was with a friend at the Barstool Sports bar in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning when he attempted to use a fake ID to gain entry to the venue. Security took the fake ID from Tannous and would not return it. Tannous then contacted the police in an attempt to retrieve his ID card. Officers reported the person on the ID was obviously not Tannous, and he was unable to provide any matching information. Tannous moved toward Officer Casey Lopez and attempted to snatch the fake ID from him, assaulting the officer in the process.

Kevin Kelley puffs chest at MNPD officer after being trespassed from Ole Red bar in Nashville

41-year-old Texas tourist Kevin Kelley puffed his chest out at his police when they told his wife to stay out of the argument that Kevin started with the police; he was then jailed for disorderly conduct. MNPD officers were called to Ole Red Bar by their security about Kevin being disorderly. When they arrived, they found Kevin at the business door with his wife and spoke to him. He argued that there was no justification for him to be thrown out of the business, so police attempted to explain to him what trespassing was. Kevin’s wife kept intervening while the police were speaking to Kevin, so she was instructed to stop. At this time, police noted, Kevin began to puff his chest out, approach an officer, and start a physical altercation. He was then placed into custody for disorderly conduct.

William Hunt under the influence with a handgun in downtown Nashville

25-year-old William Hunt was the front seat passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for suspicion of DUI just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday near Broadway in downtown Nashville. Hunt admitted to possession of a firearm, which was in the glove box in front of him. Officers noted a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and Hunt admitted to being under the influence of alcohol.

Jevon Chrystak pushes officers during fight in front of Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa

23-year-old Jevon Chrystak was involved in a fight in front of Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa on Broadway in downtown Nashville Sunday. Metro Nashville Police officers attempted to break up the fight when Chrystak pushed one of the officers in the chest. He also refused another officer’s commands to place his hands behind his back and pulled away from officers as they took him into custody.

Richard Harvell pulled from overhang of Shelby Street Bridge

19-year-old Richard Harvell was sitting on an overhang of the Shelby Street Bridge in the early morning hours of May 27 when officers observed him with his legs dangling over the ledge. He was causing alarm to nearby citizens, who believed he might jump into the river. Officer Ian Pearce grabbed Harvell from behind and pulled him to safety. He was then taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

Father brawls with cops over son’s arrest at Kid Rock’s Bar — John Stone

50-year-old John Stone and his son were at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville Saturday when they caused a commotion, demanding that another patron be removed from the bar. As they yelled and screamed, Metro Nashville Officers took notice of them and began to take the son into custody for his disruptive behavior. John Stone saw his son being detained. He approached the officers and placed his hands on an officer’s chest and grabbed his vest in an attempt to pull him away. Officers took John Stone to the ground, where he continued to resist, but eventually took him into custody. A search revealed a handgun in his possession, and he was extremely intoxicated.

Robert Jamison tumbles down stairs at Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville

33-year-old Robert Jamison took a tumble down the stairs at Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville late Saturday night. Medics and police responded to the venue, and Jamison was medically cleared. He was advised to get a safe ride home but refused to leave the bar. Due to his high level of intoxication and inability to care for himself, Jamison was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Dalton Odel “stumbling and falling” outside bar in downtown Nashville

27-year-old Dalton Odel was found stumbling and falling out of Honky Tonk Central late Saturday night by officers of the Entertainment District Unit. As they checked on his well-being, he was extremely intoxicated and could not form any coherent phrases. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Tracey McKenzie operating cocaine van in downtown Nashville

Detectives were conducting drug surveillance at 305 Broadway on February 10 when they observed 27-year-old Tracey McKenzie repeatedly going in and out of a white Honda Odyssey van that was parked nearby. They also observed him escort two individuals to the van for a short time before going their separate ways. Officers made contact as he was standing outside the van, which they learned was stolen out of Chattanooga. Inside the van, officers discovered nine individually wrapped baggies with cocaine inside, totaling 15 grams.
