35-year-old Vanderbilt nurse Ashley Meagan Stack is accused of breaking her husband, Larry Benjamin Stack’s, nose after finding out he was cheating with Monique Pearson. He called police, and after they arrived she casually walked past them, telling them she was someone else, in an attempt to flee the scene without being arrested.
A Nashville wife and mother came to the Family Safety Center Thursday to report her husband, 42-year-old Shivan Yasin, repeatedly slammed her body against a kitchen counter when she came home from shopping and he confronted her about cooking dinner.
Metro Nashville Police Tuesday arrested a 59-year-old woman having a mental health crisis, but not her husband who admitted to knocking her over, taking his belt off and lashing her multiple times, and leaving her face severely bruised from assaulting her. Police say the man had no injuries from her alleged attacks, while she suffered severe bruising from her husband’s attack. They took the woman into custody, charging her with domestic assault.
77-year-old Bobbie Peoples is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say she pointed a gun at her husband of 54 years and demanded to know what he did with the painting of a dog she was currently working on. The husband called the police to report he was afraid she would shoot him.
