Nashville Man robs Family Dollar with t-shirt mask and BB Pistol

Metro Police say an alert employee ran to the back of the Family Dollar store and called 911 as armed robber William McGilmer was holding up the North Nashville Store on Whites Creek Pike Monday morning. He is in custody, jailed in lieu of an $82,500 bond.

Clarence Turner, 23, remains jailed in lieu of a $102,000 bond this morning, charged with robbing two individuals who he connected with via the ‘OfferUp’ app to buy a PlayStation and accessories. When they arrived he retreated to his bedroom, and returned with a long gun and some choice words as he robbed them.
