Melanie Wheeler says her 53-year-old wife, Jayne Adamson, splashed her with a cup of water as she slept on the couch, and after she stood up, proceeded to push her against a wall, then pushed her to the side, causing her to hit her head. The argument was reportedly over their pet dog. Officers documented injuries that were reportedly from the assault.
Witnesses say 19-year-old Keonza Scales pointed a handgun at his mother’s face and stated, “b*/ch, get back,” during a family argument. The incident began when Keonza’s 16-year-old brother was in an argument with their mother, Ivary Scales, and Keonza riled up his brother, antagonizing the situation, and causing the juvenile’s behavior to worse. The juvenile then pulled a gun, which belonged to his mother, and was quickly disarmed by his mother and a witness, and Keonza was told to secure the handgun. Instead, he pointed the handgun at his mother’s face while making threats. He was not present when police arrived, but a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was booked on that warrant this week.
53-year-old Jody Samford faces two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he pulled a handgun on a couple who rented a room from him and stated, “you’re about to get your black ass shot!” The victims, Calvin Foxx and Princess Scott, were recently told they needed to move out of the home, and Princess was having a discussion with Jody’s wife, Pamela Samford, near the front door of the home on October 1st. Calvin exited the bedroom after hearing the two talking and noticed Jody Samford was holding a black and purple handgun, which he says was pointed at her, and overheard Samford make the verbal threat to Princess. Calvin says Jody then pointed the handgun at him and stated, “you will be leaving one way or another!”
Jody’s wife, Pamela, would never admit to witnessing him pointing the handgun but eventually confirmed her husband did own a black and purple pistol. One of Pamela Samford’s social media profiles from 2021 has the tagline of “Mature couple ready for playing.” (images inside…)
Police say 19-year-old Imani Nixon and her boyfriend, Kaveion McKissack, ended their relationship several days ago, and she had not returned to their shared apartment since. On January 22nd, Nixon returned to find another Kaveion and a female friend, Alex Mitchell, asleep in the bedroom She assaulted him, leaving his face swollen and scratches and marks on his face, chest, and shoulder.
She then tossed a box fan into his television, and tossed his Xbox from the second-floor apartment, down onto the ground, destroying it. Nixon is free on a $2,000 bond.
31-year-old Devon Davis is jailed in lieu of a $3,500 bond after breaking his girlfriend’s iPhone. He reportedly also said he wished he could have hit her before he smashed her phone. Davis is charged with domestic assault and vandalism.
When a 15-year-old was slow to get ready for school Tuesday morning her Aunt/Guardian, 34-year-old Alyse Howard, decided to expedite her departure by pulling her toward the front door by her hair, punching her in the face with her fist, and striking her with a shoe until she was outside the door, which she then locked.
