Adam Gaskins realizes he’s being catfished by his girlfriend; wrestles to take phone

40-year-old Adam Gaskins was jailed Saturday after being ‘catfished’ by his girlfriend, Madison Raye Poradish. She reportedly was using her phone to secretly catfish Gaskins to test his loyalty when he realized it and became extremely upset. He admits to grabbing the phone from her in an attempt to see more about the catfishing. She jumped on him and the two wrestled over the phone. Officers charged him with attempted theft of the phone and transported him to booking.

Andrew Weston determined to fight another person in downtown Nashville

33-year-old Andrew Weston was on Broadway in downtown Nashville Saturday, attempting to fight another person when officers working the Entertainment District Initiative observed the scuffle and stepped in to separate the two parties. Weston, who was highly intoxicated, claimed the other person took his iPhone, and the other person was adamant he was mistaken. Officers verified the person he was attempting to fight didn’t have his iPhone and believed the issue to be settled when Weston bolted past officers to attack the person again. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication. 

Asyia Lewis & Kameisha Patterson both charged in lover’s brawl

18-year-old Asyia Lewis & 21-year-old Kameisha Patterson were jailed this week after Goodlettsville Police responded to a ‘disorderly subject’ call on Green Circle on July 7th to find a large group of people inside a home yelling at Kameisha Patterson to leave the property. While officers were at the home, they observed Patterson’s girlfriend, Asyia Lewis, slap her in the face — she says she just found out that Patterson had cheated on her. They also observed Patterson slamming an iPhone onto the ground and throwing a trophy across the room. Patterson was restrained and taken out of the apartment, but pulled away and attempted to flee as she was being cuffed. Patterson is also accused of striking Asyia’s mother, Lumeka, in the face. During the investigation, Patterson claimed she needed to use the restroom and when a female officer was escorting her to the restroom she sprinted away from custody for a short period of time before being captured again.

California man destroys wife’s iPhone, claims she took photo of another man at downtown Nashville Bar — William Hawkins

While in town from California, Jennifer Hawkins called police to report that while she and her husband, 40-year-old William Hawkins, were out at a bar on Broadway she took a photo of a person with her iPhone, resulting in him grabbing her phone and smashing it on the ground, destroying it. She says she was taking a photo of her husband, however, he believes she was taking a photo of another man. Officer Gault transported the wife to a nearby Apple store so she could purchase a new phone, and Officer Hill took Hawkins into custody, charging him with felony vandalism with a domestic violence rider, invoking the state-manded 12-hour hold before his release.

Midtown man charged in assault of boyfriend after drinking — Brett Curtis Finch arrested

Police say Jeremy Bauer told his boyfriend, 40-year-old Brett Finch, to “go to bed and stop arguing” after dinner and drinks. That’s when Bauer says Finch struck him in the face, causing a laceration to his lip. Police responded to the scene, and documented visible scratches on the victim’s neck and discovered a cracked screen on the victim’s phone, which Brett reportedly threw to the ground. Police issued two warrants for the arrest of Finch, as he had already fled the scene, and he was booked into the Metro Jail this week.

Man in bathrobe assaults ex-girlfriend on toilet, smashes iPhone, jealous over new lover — Tyler Fogarty

32-year-old Tyler Fogarty is charged with domestic assault and vandalism after a series of visits to his ex-girlfriend’s home this week using a spare key he retained. The victim reports on the first night she sustained bruises to her arms and chest after he pulled her from a bathroom toilet, dragging her across the floor in an attempt to take her iPhone due to being jealous over her dating another man. The following night, he reappeared at 3 a.m. wearing a bathrobe and again confronted her about the same issue. During this visit, he was able to take the phone and the victim was able to use her Apple Watch to call 911 as he destroyed her iPhone after looking through it. Tyler Fogarty is free on a $4,500 bond.

Man strangles girlfriend after she finds sexts to gay men on his phone — Timothy Strickland arrested

23-year-old Timothy Strickland faces multiple charges, including felony aggravated assault/strangulation, after his girlfriend reportedly found messages between him and other men on his phone that he was attempting to hook up with. After the wildly detailed physical assault in the police affidavit which left blood on the bed and the victim bruised, he then burnt her social security card, took $180 from her purse, and smashed her iPhone. He then reportedly threw his face on the ground and literally ‘ate dirt’ while being arrested in an attempt to avoid or delay his trip to jail, trying to choke on it.

Man says he wishes he would have punched girlfriend before breaking her phone — Devon Davis

31-year-old Devon Davis is jailed in lieu of a $3,500 bond after breaking his girlfriend’s iPhone. He reportedly also said he wished he could have hit her before he smashed her phone. Davis is charged with domestic assault and vandalism.

He is alleged to have pulled back her wig, ripped off her faux eyelashes during a physical assault on her. The child’s mother was on the phone and overheard much of the incident.
