Prince Huffman violates order of protection by going to work at The Cheesecake Factory

38-year-old Prince Huffman, an employee of The Cheesecake Factory, was caught violating his order of protection on April 6th. Huffman did this by entering his ex-girlfriend, Emma Coakley’s place of work, The Cheesecake Factory. Huffman, who had an order of protection set on him by Coakley, saw her at their place of work. Instead of avoiding her and leaving The Cheesecake Factory, Huffman lingered around for around 25 minutes before being asked to leave by a manager. Huffman had means via a phone application to know when she was working and avoid her using that information. Despite this, Huffman still decided to come while she was working. Prince Huffman was taken into custody and charged with an order of protection violation on April 22nd.

Chassati French kicks ex-boyfriend’s car during argument

38-year-old Chassati French was involved in a domestic dispute with her ex-boyfriend, Lakota Bell, at her Lewis Street townhome complex on April 14th. Law enforcement arrived at the complex and gained access to camera footage of the incident. Officers observed French kicking the hood of Bell’s Chrysler 200 and instigating an argument with him. Bell was seen disengaging from French multiple times while on the phone with dispatch during the altercation. Surveillance also showcased French getting close to Bell’s face and throwing multiple punches toward Bell. Chassati French was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault on April 19th.

Kathy Beech steals former roommate’s earrings worth $5,200

68-year-old Kathy Beech was caught stealing from her former roommate, Patricia Orlando, on September 23rd, 2023. Orlando was evicted from Beech’s residence, so she removed all her belongings and brought them to her new home. While unpacking her items, Orlando noticed two sets of diamond earrings were missing. One set was a set of 3/4 carat stud earrings, and the other was a pair of 1/2 carat stud earrings together worth $5,200. Orlando told law enforcement that she believed Beech took her earrings because she was the only person with access to them. Orlando also stated that she saw Beech enter her room and look around during the eviction process. Kathy Beech was taken into custody and charged with theft on April 18th, 2024.

DUI: Michael Givan drives erratically down I-24 East, tells police he was “trying to keep up with his parents”

19-year-old Michael Givan was seen swerving in his lane at Interstate 24 East on April 16th. Officers closely observed Givan continue to do this and rapidly change his speed. A traffic stop was conducted when Givan’s erratic behavior continued. When officers contacted Givan, they noticed two passengers in the back seat and another in the front seat. Givan was questioned about how he was driving, and he stated that he was “trying to keep up with his parents,” who were in front of him. While speaking to Givan, an officer reportedly noticed the smell of marijuana coming from his vehicle. Givan appeared nervous to the officer, so he asked for his license, which he said he left at home. Givan was told to exit the car and was asked if he had any marijuana on him or inside his vehicle. Givan shortly confessed that there was a bag of marijuana on the driver’s side door. Officers returned to the car to seize the bag of marijuana but instead found that Givan’s step-brother, Anthony Allen, climbed across the center console into the driver’s seat. Allen also appeared to be under the influence of marijuana, so he was told to exit the car. Givan was asked if Allen had any marijuana in his possession, and Givan told them that he believed he did.

Officers asked Allen if there was any marijuana on his person, and he admitted that there was. The two other passengers were asked to leave the vehicle so officers could search it. Officers located a plastic baggie containing marijuana and a blue backpack containing a plastic sandwich bag with several marijuana joints inside. During the search, law enforcement found that Givan’s license was suspended in Kentucky for failing to complete traffic school. An officer requested Givan to perform sobriety tests to see if he could still operate his car. Givan consented to the sobriety tests but performed poorly. The total amount of marijuana seized was 19.1 grams.

Michael Givan was taken into custody and charged with simple possession, driving under the influence, and driving on a suspended license on April 17th.

DUI: Ronnie Massey hits bus with juveniles on board after having “A couple” drinks

62-year-old Ronnie Massey was involved in a car crash at the intersection of Old Lebanon Dirt Road and Old Hickory Boulevard on April 16th. Driving in a 1985 Chevy Monte Carlo, Massey struck a Prevost Passenger Bus containing thirteen juveniles and two adults. Officers made contact with Massey and noticed a strong odor of alcohol as they approached him. Officers asked Massey, who appeared intoxicated if he had been drinking, and he replied, “A couple.” When asked how many a couple was, Massey responded, “two.” Massey consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Ronnie Massey was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence on April 17th.

Mavrick Johnson steals from Ralph Lauren at Tanger Outlets

24-year-old Mavrick Johnson was caught stealing from Ralph Lauren with Clive Jennings at the Tangler Outlets Nashville on April 12th. Security at Ralph Lauren informed officers that they observed two males concealing merchandise and trying to cut off security tags. When officers arrived, the two males came out of the door. Detective Sherman attempted to stop them, but they continued to flee on foot. Jennings and Johnson refused to stop despite multiple officer’s commands, which resulted in a lengthy foot chase. Once caught, Mavrick Johnson was taken into custody and charged with evading arrest and theft.

Jeffrey Hurd tells officers to “f*ck off” after he’s found passed out drunk on Broadway

60-year-old Jeffrey Hurd was found lying on the ground unconscious in the area of 7th Avenue North and Broadway on April 10th. When officers spoke with Hurd, he slurred his words as he told them to “f*ck off.” Officers identified themselves as law enforcement, but Hurd was still being aggressive. Due to the level of Jeffrey Hurd’s intoxication and aggression, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Lawrence Baird steals 2023 Ford F-150 from Town and Country Ford dealership

32-year-old Lawrence Baird was caught stealing a 2023 Ford F-150 from Town and Country Ford on February 9th. Officers contacted Jeff Bianchi, who stated that around 6 a.m., a black Hyundai Sonata came onto the property and stole a 2023 Ford F-150. The vehicle was valued at $70,000. The truck was later found in Kentucky and had been located in Cheatham County. The owner of the black Hyundai Sonata was identified as Lawrence Baird. Baird was witnessed driving the stolen vehicle in Montgomery County. When deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop, Lawrence could not be apprehended and fled. During the investigation, law enforcement was provided video footage of Baird in the stolen truck and confirmed that he was driving it. Lawrence Baird was later taken into custody and charged with theft on April 9th.

Luke Farley speeds 84 mph on Murfreesboro Pike

24-Year-Old Luke Farley was seen recklessly driving on Mufresboro Pike on March 27th. Officers observed Farley going 84mph in a 50mph zone. He did not have any insurance and told officers the reason for his speeding was that he saw another vehicle coming into his lane, so he sped up in order to pass them. Officers cited him for the violation, and he was booked on the citation for reckless driving.
