Sabrina Howard knocks the Jesus out of brother’s girlfriend during Bible study

23-year-old Sabrina Howard was booked on a summons for assault on March 4th. On August 31st, 2021, Tatiyana Henderson was visiting her boyfriend, Howard’s brother, at his Ragsdale Court residence, reading the bible on the couch. Howard started yelling at Henderson and punched her in the face. Howard then began pulling Henderson’s hair, grabbed her wrists, and sat on her chest, holding her down. Henderson had scratches on her right knee and ankle, bruises on her wrists, and a black right eye. Howard was taken into custody on March 4th.

Richard Fletcher punches man, destroys his back windshield during road rage incident

21-year-old Richard Fletcher had a road rage incident with Hany Farouk Gerges at the Dover Glen Drive and Murfreesboro Pike intersection on December 22nd, 2023. Gerges called 911 for assistance, advising them that another subject, later identified as Fletcher, had stopped short in the middle of the road, preventing him from pulling into a parking lot. Fletcher exited his car, approached Gerges, and exchanged profanities with him. Then, according to Gerges, Fletcher started to remove the plastic covering of the driver’s side door, so to prevent further damage, he exited his car and continued to exchange words with him. Fletcher threatened him, saying, “I will beat your ass!” and then he opened the door completely, stepped towards Gerges, and punched him in the stomach. Gerges used his pepper spray and fled the scene, during which Fletcher smashed Gerges’ back window with his arm. Fletcher was located at a nearby emergency room, where he was interviewed and confirmed he was at the location and had been pepper sprayed by Gerges. Fletcher was taken into custody for vandalism and assault on March 4th.

Kai Hampton assaults 17-year-old pregnant girlfriend and her mother

23-year-old Kai Milton Hampton had a domestic altercation with his pregnant 17-year-old girlfriend, JC, near the Olive Garden on Opry Mills Drive late February 27th. Dispatch advised them that they were in a silver Kia Optima, which officers observed leaving the scene towards Briley Parkway South before following it and conducting an investigative stop. As they approached the Optima, they noticed Hampton and JC matched the description of the two involved in the incident. JC told officers that she and Hampton argued while walking to their car after dinner, during which she lay on the sidewalk, refusing to get up. Then, she said he forcefully picked her up, attempting to take her to the car, so she pulled his hair to make him release her, stating she did not want to be handled that way. Hampton then grabbed her neck from behind with two hands and started squeezing. JC said that this made breathing slightly difficult for her and made her dizzy.

Then, she explained how he had her pressed up against the Kia until her mother, Breanne Gautier, confronted him, causing him to release her. She said she watched him approach her mom and grab her arms, threatening to hit her if she continued to intervene. JC said that things deescalated after she and Hampton got into the car. Gautier spoke to the officers, advising them she had seen him with his hand around her neck, attacking her, so she rushed over there to protect JC. She said it was at this time that he grabbed her by her arms, threatening her and that she was afraid but was not going to back down. Then, after he released her, she got into her car, and they got into JC’s Kia. They went to leave as the officers arrived. Detectives noticed visible injuries that JC sustained during the incident and deemed Hampton as the primary aggressor. He was taken into custody for two counts of domestic assault on February 28th.

Hopkinsville Musician Tulei Yano assaults multiple women at Big Jimmy’s Bar

41-year-old Hopkinsville Musician Tulei Yano assaulted multiple women at Big Jimmy’s Bar in the early hours of February 24th. Security for the establishment flagged officers down and advised them that the attacker, Yano, was inside the closed construction site on 2nd Avenue North. Officers arrived at the site and noticed Yano exhibiting symptoms of intoxication before getting him to exit the construction site. Yano was unaware of his whereabouts and was deemed unable to care for himself. Officers then spoke with Brandi Renea Stimson, an employee at Big Jimmy’s Bar who Yano assaulted. Stimson advised them that she was checking identification at the entry door when Yano grabbed her shoulders from behind and pulled her toward him. Then, after Stimson told him not to do that, Yano entered the bar and assaulted another woman before being kicked out. A short time later, Yano started staring at Stimson from the construction site on 2nd Avenue North. Yano began violently shaking the fence with his hands, causing her to believe that he was targeting her and may climb over the fence to get her. Yano was taken into custody for public intoxication, criminal trespassing, and assault.

Cayman Gainey punches Lyft driver in face during argument

27-year-old Cayman Gainey had an altercation with Cihan Basak, a Lyft Driver, on January 28th. On February 12th, Basak completed a police report, stating that he picked Gainey and another female up for a Lyft ride. When they arrived at their destination, an argument ensued between Basak and Gainey. Basak stated during the argument Gainey punched him in the mouth, causing an injury to the inside of his upper lip before exiting the vehicle. Basak provided officers with dash cam footage of the incident. Gainey was taken into custody for assault on February 23rd.

Daniel Moore calls band singer a “Wh*re”, throws drink at security guard’s face

27-year-old Daniel Jacob Moore was being disorderly on Broadway at Whiskey Row in the early hours of February 21st. Officers arrived and observed Moore detained by security, sitting on the ground. Officers spoke with Whiskey Row security, who advised that Moore called the lead singer of the performing band a “wh*re,” and was asked to leave. While security escorted Moore outside, he threw his drink at a Whiskey Row security guard, Brandon Antonio Valentin, hitting his face. Officers noticed Moore showing signs of impairment and detained him. While being detained, Moore started yelling and calling officers expletives. Moore was taken into custody for public intoxication and assault.

Maid company owner Ken Neel offers employee $2,000 to eat out her “kitty”

56-year-old Kenneth Neel, owner of The Maids of Nashville, offered one of his employees, Kaleigh Watson, money to engage in sexual activity with him at work on February 19th. Watson went to the Police Department to report the incident and advised them that Neel wanted to see her in his office, which made her uncomfortable. So, Watson put her iPhone on record to capture the conversation. Neel can be heard on the 56-minute-long recording offering her $2,000.00 to “eat out her p*ssy,” and $1,000.00 to receive a “blow job” multiple times. Then, Neel asked Watson to follow him out of camera view so his wife would not find out, even after she denied his advances. Neel then offered to pay off her $17,000.00 vehicle if she would perform consistent sexual acts with him. Watson declined again, and then Neel offered $2,000.00 just to see her “p*ssy.” Watson then attempted to leave Neel’s office; however, while doing so, Neel grabbed the inside of her thigh and underneath her chin. Watson finally left the location and went to alert the authorities. Neel was taken into custody for promoting prostitution and assault.

Ohio tourist Marilyn Richards assaults man after accepting his invitation to dinner at Opryland Hotel

40-year-old Marilyn Richards is charged with the assault of Justin Slade Dowdy, a man she met while in Nashville Friday. Dowdy invited her to dinner at 9 p.m. at a restaurant inside the Opryland Hotel, and she accepted. He arrived at the hotel before her, and she arrived a short time later with multiple members of her family. A male family member begins to assault Dowdy while Marily stands beside him. Marilyn then reaches down, picks up an item, and hits Dowdy in the forehead, causing him to bleed. She was charged with assault and transported to booking. 

Illinois tourist Ryan Villanueva assaults police & bouncers at Kid Rock’s bar in Nashville

26-year-old Illinois Tourist Ryan Villanueva began to knock things from the bar and stage at Kid Rock’s bar late Friday evening. Security told him to stop, which only caused Villanueva to get aggressive with them. He grabbed the arm of one of the security staff, William Tomlinson, and ripped open the top of his shirt. Tomlinson then escorted him to the ground, at which time Villanueva kneed him in the side of the head. He was detained for Metro Nashville Police, and when they attempted to take him into their custody were also met with resistance. While being searched, he kicked backward and hit Officer Chetan Babbar’s knee.

Henrietta Umeh assaults Lea Avenue Apartments employee over mail

30-year-old Henrietta Umeh was issued a summons for an incident on December 15th, 2023, at Lea Avenue Apartments. Kendra Kirksey, an employee at Lea Avenue Apartments, stated that Umeh aggressively confronted her. According to Kirksey, Umeh was very rude throughout their encounter and demanded to get a package from the mail room. As Kirksey tried to get to the mail room, Umeh demanded to speak to the upstairs leasing office staff. After Umeh received her package, Kirksey tried to go upstairs to explain the situation to the leasing staff. Kirksey stated this was when Umeh then stepped out of the elevator, called her a “bitch” and got very close to her face. Umeh also slapped Kirksey’s hands away from the elevator buttons. Kirksey returned to the front desk, where Umeh followed her and knocked over her water bottle before walking off. Umeh was booked on a citation on February 5th.
