Eric Limburg headbutts ex-girlfriend after he accuses her of flirting with Shell Gas Station clerk

36-year-old Eric David Limburg had a domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend, Kaci Pompell, at his Bellevue Road apartment on May 2nd. Kaci advised officers that she, Limburg, and a mutual friend had gone to Broadway for drinks together. Then, after they were done, she and Limburg shared an Uber back to his unit. When they arrived, they went to the nearby Shell Gas Station for food. While there, Limburg had become upset with Kaci, accusing her of flirting with the clerk. They exited the store, and Limburg attempted to drive away and leave Kaci at the gas station. However, Kaci was able to get into the car, during which an argument ensued on the way back to his apartment. The argument escalated when they arrived at the apartment complex’s parking lot, where Limburg slapped Kaci’s food out of her hand. The dispute continued inside the apartment, causing Limburg to go outside to calm down. When he returned, he approached Kaci aggressively and headbutted her. Kaci then ran to the bathroom, locked herself inside, and alerted the authorities. Once officers arrived, they noticed blood coming from Kaci’s nose as well as an injury above her eyebrows. Kaci stated the eyebrow injury was from a prior incident with Limburg. Officers then discovered that Limburg had existing bond conditions prohibiting him from abusing or threatening to abuse Kaci. Officers noticed blood coming from Kaci’s nose as well as an injury above her eyebrows, which Kaci stated was from a prior incident with Limburg. Limburg was previously arrested on March 18th for a domestic assault incident also involving Kaci Pompell, where he slammed her face into a suitcase. A warrant was issued for his arrest on May 3rd. Limburg was taken into custody for domestic assault on May 13th.

William Jarrell threatens Kroger security guard with hunting knife during altercation

57-year-old William Jarrell had an altercation with Courtney Phillips, Kroger security, in Kroger on May 7th. When officers arrived, they observed Jarrell standing on a metal rack. He showed his hands, complying with their demands, and was detained for the incident. Phillips told officers that staff called him to remove Jarrell from the establishment, and when he walked up to him, he brandished a knife. Jarrell then threatened Phillips and “made a movement” that placed him in fear of bodily injury. Multiple witnesses said Jarrell was standing on the rack, but they did not see him with a knife. Under Miranda, Jarrell told officers he did have the hunting knife in his hand when Phillips approached him, but he did not threaten him. Jarrell was taken into custody for aggravated assault.

DUI: Paizlan Doss has 5 drinks at Alley Pub before driving on wrong side of road

23-year-old Paizlan Doss was driving northbound in the southbound lanes on Old Hickory Boulevard in the early hours of March 8th. Officers observed this and initiated a traffic stop on Doss. As Doss came to a stop, she drove into the curb three times. Officers approached the vehicle and noticed Doss reeked of alcohol. Doss then explained that she just left Alley Pub, where she had five drinks in four hours. Doss consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. She then agreed to provide a breath sample, which resulted in 0.136 BAC%. Doss was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

DUI: Brandin Veloz, 19, charged after drinking at Play Dance Bar & crashing car

19-year-old Brandin Veloz says he drank three shots of rum and vodka mixed at Play Dance Bar before crashing his car in West Nashville in the early hours of Saturday morning. Officers say he reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He would later blow a 0.129% BAC on a breathalyzer.

DUI: Kierra Dies admits she’s drunk & flips off officer during arrest

19-year-old Kierra Dies flipped off officers before her arrest. Kierra was involved in a collision at exit 204A, where luckily, no one was injured. When the officer arrived, Dies stated, “I’m drunk, and I rear-ended him” She admits to having one beer. The empty beer can was located on the floor of the passenger’s side. Dies smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot watery eyes and slurred speech. She was placed under arrest after performing poorly on all field sobriety tests, but not before flipping off the officer, yelling obscenities, and cursing him out without ever confirming a yes or no to consent to submit a blood sample for testing.

DUI: Timmie Godwin asleep behind the wheel on the interstate

Police responded to what appeared to be a disabled vehicle on I-40 E in the early hours of Feb 11 to find 30-year-old Timmie ‘TJ’ Godwin asleep behind the wheel with the vehicle in drive and his foot on the brake. Offers were initially unable to wake Godwin but were eventually able to reach through a small portion of the window that was rolled down and “poked” him until he was awake. As he was removed from the vehicle, it was apparent he was intoxicated and had an empty liquor bottle in the center console. TJ Godwin admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving and was transported to booking, where he was charged with DUI.

Jacob Denton whipped out his fiddle and let it flow on Broadway in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville say they observed 24-year-old Jacob Denton outside of Second Fiddle at 420 Broadway. Denton reportedly was having trouble maintaining his balance due to his level of drunkenness, but was able to unzip his pants and expose his own instrument while urinating on the sidewalk as many patrons of Second Fiddle took note of the performance. Denton was charged with public indecency and public intoxication.

Musician Jered Ames charged with DUI after leaving West Nashville dive bar Betty’s Grill

Metro Police say 38-year-old Jerry Bachner, better known as musician ‘Jered Ames’ was involved in an accident with another vehicle near 51st Ave N & Indiana Ave in the early hours of Saturday morning. While describing how the accident occurred to police, they reported smelling alcohol coming from Bachner, along with his slurred speech during the conversation. He admitted to consuming “4-5” alcoholic drinks at the local dive bar, Betty’s Grill, just a couple of blocks away from the crash site. Bachner performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking, where he was charged with DUI.

DUI: David Iturriaga crashes into pole after leaving Alley Pub

28-year-old David Iturriaga crashed his vehicle in the early hours of Saturday morning after leaving Alley Pub on Hwy 70 South. He told officers he consumed 2-3 alcoholic drinks at the bar prior to leaving and crashing his vehicle into a utility pole, causing the pole and wires to fall to the ground. He would later blow a 0.125% BAC on a breathalyzer as he was booked into custody and charged with DUI.

DUI: Daniel Marchesi says he was just avoiding a deer, police say he was driving drunk

25-year-old Daniel Marchesi crashed his vehicle on Old Hickory Blvd near Hwy 100 on March 19th, disabling it. He says he was attempting to avoid colliding with a deer. When police arrived they could smell alcohol, and Marchesi admitted to drinking 2 drinks prior to driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.087% BAC on a breathalyzer.
