DUI: Dominic Rivera pops Adderall and drinks beer before driving with fully loaded pistol

25-year-old Dominic Rivera II failed to stop in his black 2016 Lexus at a posted stop sign near 51st Avenue and Indiana Avenue late March 8th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and then noticed he reeked of alcohol as they approached the driver’s side to speak with him. They also saw two Coors Light’s, one empty, one a quarter-full, and a Hennessy bottle in the center console. Rivera II told them that he had taken some Adderall earlier in the day, and two hours later, he had two beers with his dinner. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was informed of implied consent, which he refused. A search of his vehicle resulted in them locating a Glock Gen5 pistol with one in the chamber and a fully loaded magazine. Rivera was taken into custody for the possession of a handgun while under the influence, implied consent, and driving under the influence on March 9th.

DUI: Christopher Churchwell caught with gun after crashing car

45-year-old Christopher Churchwell had a single-vehicle accident on SR 155 in the early hours of March 9th. When officers arrived, they noticed Churchwell reeked of alcohol as he voluntarily handed them his firearm off his right hip. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and then denied implied consent. Churchwell was taken into custody for driving under the influence, possession of a handgun while under the influence, and implied consent.

33-year-old Deven Campbell told police he consumed four vodka and redbull cocktails before crashing his 2021 Toyota Tacoma in the early hours of Saturday morning on I-24. Responding officers noted he reeked of alcohol and was visibly intoxicated. He performed poorly on subsequent field sobriety tests and was taken into custody and charged with DUI.

DUI: Kevin Miller Jr. found passed out in car, tells officers he did not drink

31-year-old Kevin Miller Jr. was asleep behind the wheel of his car, with its hazard lights activated in the middle lane near the Bell Road and Blue Hole Road intersection in the early hours of March 8th. Officers observed this and conducted a community caretaking stop, during which Miller Jr. had woken up. When officers approached, they asked Miller Jr. to exit the vehicle, and when he did, he showed multiple signs of intoxication, reeking of alcohol. Officers noticed Miller Jr. had a holster protruding from his pants pocket, so they asked where his handgun was. Miller Jr. explained that the gun was mounted via magnet under the vehicle’s dashboard. Officers asked if Miller Jr. would take sobriety tests, which he did and performed poorly. Officers then went to detain Miller Jr., but he became resistive. Shortly after, Miller Jr. complied and was put in the back of the patrol car. Miller Jr. then tried to extend his leg, preventing officers from closing the door. Then, another officer assisted and pulled Miller Jr. in from the other side. Officers informed Miller Jr. of implied consent once he was secured in the backseat but refused to answer whether he consented. Miller Jr. kept asking officers why he was arrested, which was already told to him, then Miller Jr. stated he was not drunk and did not drink. Miller Jr. also claimed that he had performed a breathalyzer test, which he had not done. Miller Jr. was taken into custody for driving under the influence, implied consent, resisting arrest, and possessing a weapon while under the influence.

DUI: Trevor Duke crashes into pole after drinking at Nashville Predators game

26-year-old Trevor Duke had a car accident near McGavock Pike and Briley Parkway early March 6th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Duke, who advised that he had swerved to avoid hitting a vehicle and struck a pole. Duke reeked of alcohol as officers asked for his driver’s credentials. Duke then admitted to drinking multiple alcoholic beverages at Scoreboard Bar and Grill, where he works. Duke also stated he also attended the Nashville Predators hockey game and consumed more alcohol there as well. Duke consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and refused to provide a blood or breath sample after being explained implied consent. Officers discovered Duke’s license had been suspended, and his vehicle registration had expired in January 2023. Duke was taken into custody for driving under the influence, implied consent violation, driving on a suspended license, and driving or moving an unregistered vehicle.

DUI: Andrew Grisham drives into wood line near Old Hickory Boulevard after drinking

26-year-old Andrew Blake Grisham drove off the road and into the wood line near Old Hickory Boulevard and Ridgelake Parkway in the early hours of March 6th. When detectives arrived, Grisham emerged from the wood line and advised them he was driving the vehicle. Officers noticed Grisham exhibited signs of intoxication as he refused to do sobriety testing and provide a breath or blood sample. Grisham was taken into custody for driving under the influence and implied consent.

DUI: Aimable Musafiri crashes into multiple cars, resists arrest after drinking 2 beers

34-year-old Aimable Musafiri was involved in a three-car accident near Rice Road and Edge O Lake Drive on February 23rd. Officers arrived and spoke to all parties involved, during which Musafiri admitted to having two beers and taking flu medicine. Officers noticed Musafiri showing signs of intoxication before asking him to participate in sobriety tests. However, Musafiri told officers no and refused to take sobriety tests. Officers then attempted to detain Musafiri, to which he resisted, pushing away from officers. Once Musafiri was arrested and informed of implied consent, he declined to provide a breath sample. Musafiri was taken into custody for driving under the influence, implied consent, and resisting arrest.

DUI: Country Music Singer Dylan Wolfe crashes car on I-24 West, tells police he “looked down at his phone”

29-year-old Country Music Singer Dylan Wolfe had a single-vehicle accident on I-24 West in the early hours of February 29th. Wolfe spoke with officers when they arrived and told them that he “looked down at his phone,” causing the wreck. Then, Wolfe admitted to having three mixed drinks with Crown Royal Apple before driving. Wolfe consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly before refusing to provide a blood sample. During a subsequent search of his vehicle, Officers located a firearm in his center console. Wolfe was taken into custody for driving under the influence, implied consent, and weapon possession while under the influence.

DUI: Kenneth Moore drives on 2 flat tires, repeatedly asks police to kill him

27-year-old Kenneth Moore drove with two completely flat tires on the morning of February 26th. Officers observed this and initiated a traffic stop. After stopping, Moore exited his vehicle, grabbed an air pump, and attempted to fill his tires, disregarding the officers pulling him over. Moore showed multiple signs of intoxication as officers asked him how much he had to drink that night, causing him to become angry. Then, Moore made an angry face and clenched his fists, which officers believed indicated he was about to attempt to fight them, so they detained him. After officers Mirandized Moore, he kept asking them to kill him, stating that he wanted them to “Put a bullet in my head,” and said, “This would be so easy if you just f*cking kill me.” Moore started yelling at officers when they placed him in the back of the patrol car. When officers informed Moore of implied consent, he replied, “Here is what I am going to do. I am going to attempt to escape, so you shoot me in the head.” During a subsequent search of Moore’s vehicle, officers located four cans of Natty Ice beer, a small vodka shooter, and a half-empty vodka bottle underneath the driver’s seat. Moore was taken into custody for an open-container violation, driving under the influence, and implied consent.

DUI: Seth Andresen takes 120mg of Methadone before crashing Chevy Avalanche

30-year-old Seth Andresen had a head-on collision in his Chevy Avalanche at the intersection of Harding Place and Jonquil Drive in the early hours of February 22nd. After crashing, Andresen fled the crash and drove away on Harding Place toward Antioch Pike. Andresen was seen swerving out of his lane and seemed to have briefly fallen asleep at the green light before accelerating again. Officers observed this and conducted a traffic stop. Anderson pulled into a nearby parking lot and exited his Avalanche before approaching the patrol car. Officers announced themselves and instructed Andresen to put his hands behind his back, which he refused. Then, Andresen began to push officers, forcing officers to use a takedown maneuver to detain him. Andresen showed multiple signs of impairment as officers Mirandized him. Andresen then became combative, refusing to have a conversation with officers. Officers spoke with Lisa Skimehorn, a counselor at a nearby clinic, who advised officers that Andresen had seen her about an hour before the incident. Skimehorn advised that Andresen took a dosage of 120mg of Methadone. After officers investigated, it was determined that Andresen was responsible for more than $1,500 worth of damage in the crash. Officers also learned that Andresen had a prior DUI conviction from Indiana in 2017. Andresen was taken into custody for implied consent, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest, and driving under the influence-2nd offense.
