Xavier Andrews threatens to beat up roommate during argument

25-year-old Xavier Andrews was booked on February 25th for assaulting his female roommate at Ponder Place. Tonja Bass told police that Andrews threatened to beat her up. A witness who was on the scene during the incident corroborated her statements. Tonja wished to prosecute and would swear out a warrant to that effect. Due to both the victim’s and witness statements, officers took Andrews into custody for domestic assault due to the likelihood the offense would continue.

Elic Page assaults ex-boyfriend, prevents him from leaving apartment during argument

30-year-old Elic Page was jailed on March 3rd for assaulting his ex-boyfriend during an argument on Shurgard Way. Nathaniel Browning stated that he was trying to remove his property from Elic’s apartment when Elic put his hands on him and wouldn’t let him leave. Nathaniel explained that he was moving out of the apartment because he and Elic broke up. Nathaniel stated that Elic forced him onto the bed. When Nathaniel tried to leave the apartment, Elic blocked the door with his body, preventing Nathaniel from leaving. Officers reviewed video footage revealing Nathaniel telling Elic he just wanted to get his things and leave. Then, the footage showed Elic forcing Nathaniel back and slamming the front door shut.

According to Elic, he only made physical contact with Nathaniel when he tried to hug him. A witness corroborated Nathaniel’s story by stating that Elic grabbed him several times and even pinned him against the wall. The witness had multiple videos on her phone confirming Nathaniel’s story. Nathaniel later changed his story and stated that Elic never threatened or assaulted him. Elic was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Andrew Gay assaults fiancé for taking children to McDonald’s

34-year-old Andrew Gay was jailed on February 24th for assaulting his fiancé on South Street. A third party reported that his ex-wife, Angela Bierly, was assaulted by her current fiancé. When police arrived, Gay explained that he and Angela had gotten into an argument because he was sick and stressed. Gay stated that the argument started because of the children that he and Angela share. Gay, however, insisted that no threats or violence occurred. Angela told police that the argument was over taking the kids to McDonalds but that there were no threats or physical violence. Angela then changed her story after further questioning and said that she obtained an injury from her fiancé. Angela stated that she told Gay she was going to take the children out to McDonald’s, which upset him. Angela was holding the stroller when Gay grabbed her shirt to stop her from leaving, causing a bruise. The officers observed the bruise and determined Gay to be the primary aggressor.

Amaya Simmons drunkenly yells obscenities at Staybridge Suites staff

27-year-old Amaya Simmons was jailed on February 26th for causing a disturbance at Staybridge Suites Nashville. When officers arrived, Ms. Simmons was angry with staff in the hotel lobby. Officers also noticed the smell of alcohol coming from her. Hotel staff and other witnesses said Ms. Simmons was refused service at the bar and became upset. Ms. Simmons began yelling obscenities at the staff, prompting the staff to call the police. Simmons was then taken into custody and transported to Davidson County Detention Center.

Steve Midgett Jr. booked after starting brawl during funeral at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church

23-year-old Steve Midgett Jr. was booked on an outstanding warrant from May 10th, 2020. On that day, police received a report from Midgett Jr.’s cousin stating that during a funeral at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Midgett Jr. offered a few words. During the concluding remarks, Midgett Jr. stepped on the podium and began lambasting the deceased. This caused a brawl inside the church, which continued outside into the parking lot. While the police were quelling the crowd, Midgett Jr. told his cousin, “You’re dead,” which placed her in fear.

On February 26, while officers attempted to arrest Midgett Jr. on the outstanding warrant, he resisted, preventing officers from escorting him to the patrol car. Officers commanded several times to stop resisting, but he continued to resist and refused to sit down in the patrol vehicle. Midgett Jr. was taken into custody for resisting arrest and domestic assault on February 26th.

John Wilson Jr. deemed too drunk for Nashville International Airport

43-year-old John Wilson Jr. was jailed on February 26th after not paying his bill at Vino Fiesta Bar at Nashville International Airport. John left Vino Fiesta Bar and was denied boarding with American Airlines for being too intoxicated. The bar manager provided a bill of $38.56 that John left unpaid. Officers retrieved John’s information from the gate agent and contacted him by phone. John told officers that he was currently at the pick-up zone. When officers arrived at the pick-up zone, they observed him standing on the curb near traffic, unable to keep his balance. John was visibly intoxicated and smelled of alcohol. John was taken into custody for his own safety.

Nashville Rapper “Sixstreet Mac” booked after repeatedly harassing ex-wife, threatens her with gun – Mack Hall

34-year-old Nashville Rapper “Sixstreet Mac” Mack Hall was booked on February 26th when police responded to night court for a domestic report. Jacinda Hall advised officers that her ex-husband, Mack Hall, had been giving her issues for the past three years. Jacinda filed for divorce three years ago; however, Hall refused to sign the paperwork until recently. According to Jacinda, over the last three years, she has tried to cut communication with Hall, but he has consistently harassed her through text messages and phone calls after she told him not to. Jacinda blocked Hall’s phone number on three separate occasions, but he has continued to harass her from different numbers. Officers were able to verify the calls made by Hall. On February 25th, Hall called Jacinda while she was at work, and she answered to advise him to stop calling her. Hall replied, “I know where you are; I’ll be right there.” Hall then showed up at Jacinda’s job looking for her. Jacinda’s coworkers advised that this is not the first time he has come to the location looking for Jacinda. Hall followed Jacinda as she took an Uber home. Hall followed Jacinda to her front door and tried to get inside. Jacinda shut the door on him and advised that he was not allowed in. While shutting the door, Hall stuck his foot in the opening to block it from fully closing. Jacinda grabbed her phone and told Hall she would call the police. Hall then knocked the phone out of her hand. Hall pulled out a gun and pressed the barrel against Jacinda’s back. Jacinda was able to grab her phone and hold down the SOS button to call the police, which prompted Hall to flee the scene. Mack was taken into custody and charged with harassment on February 26th.

Mohammad Ghunim booked after fighting outside The Valentine on Broadway

22-year-old Mohammad Ghunim was jailed on February 25th after reports of a fight outside of The Valentine on Broadway. When officers arrived, they saw Ghunim fighting another individual and told him to stop multiple times. Ghunim did not listen to the officer’s commands and continued to fight. Ghunim was then placed into custody and transported to booking.

18-year-old Lazaro Arredondo speeds away during traffic stop, tells police he “got scared”

18-year-old Lazaro Arredondo was jailed on February 25th after police observed a black Ram pickup truck run a red light and turn left on Trinity Lane. When officers attempted to pull him over, he sped northbound on I-65 until police stopped the chase. Officers watched as Lazaro exited the interstate towards Ellington Parkway. His pickup truck got stuck behind traffic, giving the officer time to catch up to him. When the officer finally caught up with him, he sped off again, gaining distance from the officer before exiting on Hart Lane. The officer followed Lazaro into a driveway on Conviser Drive, where he exited the vehicle and was taken into custody. Lazaro admitted that he saw that officer behind him but didn’t stop because he “got scared.” Lazaro also admitted that he was in town to participate in a street racing group meet-up. Lazaro was taken into custody on February 25th.

Leondrea Bailey jailed after doing donuts in parking lot during illegal street racing event

26-year-old Leondrea Bailey was jailed on February 25th when police helicopters observed her participating in an illegal street racer event. Police observed a red Dodge Charger with black racing stripes doing donuts in the Murfreesboro Pike and Bell Road intersection parking lot. Bailey did so while being surrounded by a large crowd of people, putting them at risk of getting hit by her vehicle. When Bailey saw the police, she fled the scene, driving recklessly while speeding until she was finally stopped. After running her information through the system, it was discovered Bailey didn’t have a valid driver’s license. Bailey was taken into custody for rioting, reckless endangerment, and driving without a license on February 25th.
