Jordan Higgins smashes ex-wife’s windshield when she picks him up at airport

When 44-year-old Jordan Higgins was picked up by his ex-wife at the Nashville International Airport on October 18th, the pair argued and were immediately disagreeable. Jordan became so upset he struck the windshield of Olivia’s car, breaking it, and injuring his hand. The two then continued their journey back to their shared residence in Murfreesboro but only got to Donelson Pike and Airport Center Drive before they were involved in an automobile crash. As officers inquired about the broken windshield, Jordan admitted to smashing it, and stated he’d “rather hurt something material than his wife.”

25-year-old April Shante Cantrell was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday on an outstanding felony vandalism warrant from September. An arrest warrant shows she went to the Overlook Ridge Apartments with her sister, Lete Cantrell, along with four other individuals, and beat on the door of Jameshia Jones, who was inside her apartment. Video footage then reportedly shows April walking on top of Jameshia’s 2013 Hyundai Sonata and stepping through the front windshield, destroying it, and ripping off the license plate before fleeing with the others. A repair estimate of $5,006.44 was provided to detectives and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She is free on a $10,000 bond.

Man chases neighbor with traffic cone, throws game controller at cop — Kevin Sullivan

MNPD Officer Gregory Scott charged 30-year-old Kevin Sullivan with assault of an officer when he says Sullivan threw a video game controller at him during a mental health crisis, and while it did not hit him, he states he was “in fear of being hurt by the object”. Sullivan was also charged with vandalism after breaking a neighbor’s windshield with a piece of furniture, and another assault charge when he threatened to shoot the same neighbor, who says he was in fear he would follow through with the threat. Sullivan remains jailed in lieu of a $2,500 bond.

Davianna Hyde was arrested on Sunday afternoon, after she admitted to smashing the windshield of her boyfriend’s car, and then broke through the door he had barricaded himself behind, to attack him with a metal pipe. She is currently free on a $7,500 bond.
