Jim Connors attempts to flee police after being caught fighting

23-year-old Jim Connors was observed engaging in fighting behavior in the early hours of July 5th. After noticing this, officers tried to stop Connors, but he began to run. Once detained, officers noticed Connors had a cut on the back of his head, so they alerted medics. When NFD personnel arrived, Connors refused medical attention. Connors showed signs of impairment, so officers deemed him a danger to himself. Connors was placed in custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

DUI: Gillian Lado crashes her Volkswagen Jetta after having 1 vodka soda

24-year-old Gillian Lado was involved in a car accident at the intersection of Charlotte Avenue and 14th Avenue North at 11:42 p.m. on June 29th. When officers arrived, they approached Lado, who they reported smelt like alcohol and was visually impaired. Officers asked Lado how many drinks she had, and she replied that she only had one vodka soda. Lado agreed to perform sobriety tests, but while doing so, she showcased multiple indicators of intoxication. After being read her Miranda Rights and implied consent, she refused any chemical tests. Lado was then taken into custody for driving under the influence and implied consent violation on June 30th.

April Hurd twists husband’s testicles after argument on Broadway

37-year-old April Hurd was involved in a domestic altercation with her husband, Austin Hurd, At Fraye Hotel on Broadway on June 10th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with April, who stated that she was involved in an altercation with Austin. April claimed that the two had been out drinking when they got into an argument. April says that Austin left her on Broadway, and she returned to their room. Once in the hotel room, she noticed Austin inside and told him to “get the fuck out.” April informed officers that she doesn’t remember much but does remember that Austin put her into a headlock, which caused her earring to penetrate the skin behind her ear.

Austin told officers that he and his wife were out on Broadway drinking and had gotten into an argument. Austin claims that he left Broadway because he did not want to argue with April anymore. When he and April returned to the hotel room, they immediately started arguing. April told him to “get the fuck out of the room.” Austin did not leave the room because he did not have anywhere else to stay. That was when April Grabbed his testicles and squeezed. Austin also says that in self-defense, he pushed her head down so she would release his testicles, causing the injury. Officers also observed injuries to Austin’s arm. Due to April initiating the argument as well as the bruise on Austin, she was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

DUI: Abel Mullins falls asleep behind the wheel of Ford Mustang outside Barstool Nashville

25-year-old Abel Mullins was taken into custody for driving under the influence and an implied consent violation on June 7th. EMS called for police assistance at Barstool Nashville, and when they arrived, they found Mullins asleep in the driver’s seat of his 2020 Ford Mustang. The engine was off but because the vehicle was push to start and Mullins had possession of the key with it being in his pocket, officers determined he had control of the vehicle. Officers had Mullins exit his car, where they smelled a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his breath. At the same time, he showed signs of inebriation, so they prompted him with sobriety tests, which he consented to and performed poorly. After being informed of implied consent, he refused to provide a chemical sample and was detained for the incident.

DUI: Rylie Duke nearly hits police car after having 2 shots of Crown Liquor

19-year-old Rylie Duke was seen in a white Lexus sedan almost hitting an officer’s vehicle in the area of Waverly and Wedgewood Avenue on June 2nd. Officers observed that the sedan was going to hit them, so they swerved off the roadway and into an alley. Officers proceeded to follow behind the sedan as it continued to swerve in and out of traffic. A traffic stop was conducted on 12th Avenue South. Officers spoke with Duke, who stated that she was coming from a smoking lounge. When asked how many drinks she had, Duke said she had one shot. This led to officers asking her to perform field sobriety tests. Duke consented to sobriety tests but performed poorly. After being read implied consent and her Miranda Rights, Duke confessed that she actually had two shots of Crown Liquor. Rylie Duke was taken into custody and charged with underage driving under the influence.

DUI: Samantha Allen attempts to run over police officers in BMW i3, crashes into yard

38-year-old Samantha Jo Allen was being disorderly near Southside Place on the night of March 4th. When officers arrived, Allen’s friends advised them that she had been consuming alcohol before driving off in her black BMW. After a brief search, officers located her in an alleyway behind Southside Place, lying back in the driver’s seat of her BMW i3, fully reclined. When officers approached the car, they shined a flashlight through the window, causing Allen to jump up in her seat and become responsive. Allen exhibited multiple indicators of intoxication, such as having bloodshot eyes. When Allen noticed the officers, she began reversing her BMW, nearly hitting Officers Bene, Mendoza, and Ireland. Then, officers told her to park her car and exit, which she ignored as she maneuvered past them, nearly hitting them again before she fled. After officers searched the area, they found Allen near 9th Circle South and Olympic Street, where she had crashed her BMW into a yard, hitting a parked car. Allen started running away between two nearby houses until detectives pursued her and told her to stop, which she complied with. Allen was taken into custody for driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, and three counts of aggravated assault on a first responder on March 6th.

DUI: Clayton McCool found stopped in the middle of an active roadway

35-year-old Clayton McCool stopped in the middle of an active roadway on Division Street in the early hours of February 4th. Officers observed this when they arrived and asked him to exit the vehicle. McCool’s keys were found on the sidewalk as he told them he had been driving but was unaware of how they ended up on the sidewalk. They observed McCool to be visibly intoxicated as he consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Officers Mirandized McCool as he refused to provide a blood sample and informed him of implied consent. McCool was taken into custody for driving under the influence and an implied consent violation.

Eddrionna Wilbourn charged with public intoxication on Acklen Ave

21-year-old Eddrionna Wilbourn was found drunkenly stumbling on the sidewalk on Acklen Ave late Saturday night. Neighbors called police, who responded and noted her visible intoxication. She stated she had only been drinking and refused to leave the area. Officers determined she was unable to care for herself and took her into custody for public intoxication.

Drunken Cookeville Veterinarian Francis Baker goes wild in Nashville during soccer game

42-year-old Francis Seth Baker, a Cookeville Veterinarian, walked out of the soccer game at Geodis Stadium Saturday night in what his wife described as a ‘very intoxicated’ state, taking the car keys with him. When his wife and the rest of the family searched for him, the vehicle was gone, and they contacted the police. Officers were able to find his location using their iCloud account, and as they drove to the location, they spotted the vehicle with Baker driving. He stopped out of the vehicle and was visibly intoxicated. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, he was placed into a patrol car when he attempted to push himself away from arresting officers. He then lunged out of the vehicle and wrapped his legs around one of the officers. He then claimed to be hyperventilating and was evaluated by Nashville Fire medics. He spit on officers and responding medics and was transported to be medically cleared before being booked into jail. 

Nashville drag queen ‘Britney Banks’ jailed for punching husband Ryan in face (Chase Brisentine)

40-year-old Chase Brisentine, better known as Nashville’s very own “Glamazon” drag queen “Britney Banks,” was jailed early Sunday morning after punching his husband, Ryan Brisentine, in the face. The two were driving home from a friend’s house when they got into a verbal argument. Ryan, who was driving, said Chase then punched him in the face multiple times. Officers documented visible injuries to Ryan’s face. Chase admitted to the assault, stating he “got annoyed” with his husband, so he punched him.
