Taylor Riley charged with DUI after “two green tea shots”

28-year-old Taylor Riley was speeding down the roadway just after 2 a.m. Saturday when officers observed her slow down erratically while swapping between lanes, and eventually coming to a stop across two lanes of travel on Gallatin Pike. She was slow to respond to officers who approached her, and stated she had consumed “two green tea shots” before driving. She showed multiple signs of impairment on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.160% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Tyeisha Levy jailed after slashing boyfriend’s tires

21-year-old Tyeisha Levy was arguing with her boyfriend, Demonte Riley, on the way to Walmart on January 19. The argument continued on the ride home. Once back home, she told Riley she was going to retrieve some of her belongings from his vehicle, and asked him to unlock the car door. When he ignored her request, she went outside with a knife and slashed all four of his tires.

Carlie Griffin bites MNPD officer, grabs another’s thigh, in attempt to escape custody after welfare check

27-year-old Carlie Hampton Griffin was the subject of a welfare check in late December on Kentucky Ave in the Nations. During the interaction, Mobile Crisis deemed it necessary to place an involuntary mental health hold on Griffin, though she was still inside her home and refused to come out. She repeatedly opened the door, yelled at the officers and counselors, and then closed and locked it once again. As Officer Higgins attempted to grab her to take her into custody, she bit down on his arm, letting her slip back inside. Eventually, a taser was deployed until she could be handcuffed. Once handcuffed, Carlie Griffin attempted to flee and grabbed Officer Folad’s upper thigh and squeezed it, causing instant pain. Officer Folad also sprained his ankle at some point during the interaction. She was eventually transported to a local hospital, and warrants were issued for her arrest once released. She was booked on those open warrants this weekend.

David Reed strikes parking garage manager with vehicle when line takes too long

50-year-old David Reed of Glasgow, KY, was in a parking garage on Broadway in downtown Nashville Saturday afternoon when the manager of the garage was controlling traffic to ensure the license plate cameras were recording each plate. Reed became angered at the slow pace and began to yell profanities out the window and honk his horn at the traffic and the manager, Brandon Mefford, who was now in front of his vehicle. Witnesses say he then yelled for the manager to “get the f*/k out of the way!” and drove forward, pushing the manager with his vehicle and continuing up the ramp without stomping, which was also documented on video. 

Kelsey Nolan jailed after fight in downtown Nashville

28-year-old Kelsey Nolan was involved in a fight outside Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning. Officers arrived and separated the two individuals, and neither wanted to press charges. Both were told to leave the area; however, Nolan began swinging her arms while yelling and confronting another person. Nolan was yelling that someone from that group had attacked her friend, and she was continuing to agitate a fight. She was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

Alabama Man Jesse James Reagan charged with DUI after being kicked out of Barstool Nashville

29-year-old Jesse Reagan was kicked out of Barstool Sports Saturday evening, due to his disruptive behavior and level of intoxication. He then returned to his vehicle, which was parked across the street, and was sitting in the driver’s seat when MNPD Officers made contact with him after being flagged down by Barstool bouncers. Reagan was reportedly visibly intoxicated and had the keys to the vehicle in his pocket. He refused field sobriety tests, stating he knew he would fail. He advised he had a handgun in the vehicle, and it was located, along with multiple empty beer cans, a bottle of wine, and a bottle of Casamigos Tequila. He refused all further testing and was taken into custody, charged with DUI, implied consent, and handgun possession while under the influence.

“Where are my joints?” asks Roderick Frazier to Metro Nashville Police

26-year-old Roderick Frazier reportedly assaulted a woman and stole her iPhone, according to the victim and security staff at Luke’s 32 Bridge bar in downtown Nashville late Friday night. Security flagged down nearby officers, who attempted to detain Frazier for further investigation. He initially allowed a search of his bag, which quickly yielded a knife, but then became hostile and combative. As officers attempted to place him into handcuffs, he resisted and had to be taken to the ground, where he continued to resist. It took several officers to get him into a patrol car. A search incident to arrest revealed three marijuana joints in his backpack, which he specifically asked for several times on the way to booking.

Florida man Riley Patterson too drunk for downtown Nashville

24-year-old Riley Patterson was attempting to enter Hard Rock Cafe while it was closed at 1:30 a.m. Saturday and caught the attention of nearby officers. He was reportedly extremely intoxicated and attempted to walk away from approaching officers but fell to the ground, unable to maintain his balance. Due to his inability to care for himself and no one to care for him, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Ciera Booker jailed after throwing boyfriend’s things in dumpster

One day after her 30th birthday, Ciera Booker was jailed on a vandalism charge in Nashville. Police say she was in an argument with her boyfriend, Triston Allen, on her birthday, and he left his belongings at her apartment. On January 12, Triston called the police to assist in retrieving his belongings from her apartment, including his iPhone, wallet, medication, and work clothes. She allowed him and police inside, and informed the officer she had thrown all of his items in a dumpster down the road, which could no longer be recovered. Due to her admission, she was charged with vandalism and taken into custody.

Reed Thomas Jacobs unzips and “makes it rain” from rooftop of Nashville Underground

27-year-old Reed Jacobs was a Nashville Underground on Broadway in downtown Nashville Saturday night when he reportedly unzipped his pants and made it rain from the rooftop balcony in the 34-degree weather. He fled from security and officers as he left the building and hid behind a nearby car. He was eventually located and was extremely intoxicated. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
