Jamie Thomas punches wife, security guard in face during incident at Westin Hotel

33-year-old Jamie Thomas had a domestic incident with his wife, Sharon Oring, at the Westin Hotel in the early hours of April 7th. Security at the hotel alerted the authorities, and when officers arrived, they advised them that Thomas was extremely intoxicated and refused to leave the property. Officers located him behind the hotel near some stairs and asked him what had happened, to which he replied, “Absolutely nothing has occurred.” Security told the police that he had punched his wife and a security guard in the face. Oring confirmed that Thomas hit her in the face but did not know if it was open or closed-handed. She said she was hit during the altercation between Thomas and security. Thomas was taken into custody for domestic assault, criminal trespass, and public intoxication.

David Marroquin hits girlfriend, tries to take daughter from her during altercation

23-year-old David Andres Marroquin had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Jasmin Andrea Aldana Oliva, at their shared unit at The Knolls Apartments on April 8th. Upon arrival, officers were approached by multiple witnesses, who stated Marroquin and Oliva were in a “struggle,” pushing and pulling at each other. Witnesses added that Marroquin was trying to take Oliva’s daughter from her. Then, Oliva advised detectives that Marroquin had gotten drunk, so she wanted to leave their apartment. While she was trying to leave, Marroquin hit her on the left side of her face while trying to take her child. When officers asked Marroquin about the occurrence, he stated he did not know what happened. Marroquin was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Hunter Williams fights juveniles with his wife on Broadway after being kicked out of Honky Tonk Central

23-year-old Hunter Williams and his wife, Sabrina Smith, were seen outside Honky Tonk Central arguing with kids on April 5th. Officers observed Williams punching a lightbox outside Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row after he and his wife were kicked out. William seemed visibly irate and displayed several signs of intoxication. Shortly after, officers saw the couple across the street at Honky Tonk Central. Smith appeared to be calming Williams down until they both got into an argument with two disorderly juveniles. After arguing, a fight broke out between the four. Hunter Williams was then taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Ashley Bishop steals packages from UPS warehouse

33-year-old Ashley Renee Bishop stole packages from the UPS warehouse on April 5th. Warehouse employees told officers that packages were missing, so they investigated. Bishop was observed on camera having packages in her bag as she walked through the X-ray scanner. Before the officers arrived, security held Bishop in their office. Bishop admitted to stealing the merchandise and then was taken into custody for theft.

Dustin Farrell stumbles up jet bridge after drinking at Nashville International Airport

31-year-old Dustin James Farrell was taken into custody for public intoxication on April 6th. Around 4:40 p.m., the Nashville Airport Police Department received a call regarding an intoxicated passenger, later identified as Farrell. When officers located him, they noticed Farrell was stumbling up the jet bridge and reeking of alcohol. Farrell stated he had consumed alcohol before his flight. Officers asked him if he knew where he was, and he said he was in Virginia trying to get to Nashville. Then, Farrell told officers the wrong day of the week, so they deemed him unable to care for himself. Farrell was transported to booking and transferred to deputies’ custody.

David Hamilton-Tweedale found walking along I-40 West after night on the town

47-year-old David James Hamilton-Tweedale was walking on I-40 West near Exit 209A in the early hours of April 6th. Upon arrival, officers observed him walking eastbound on the freeway, approached him, and noticed he reeked of alcohol. Hamilton-Tweedale stated he was not in a vehicle and had been out drinking. Officers deemed him a danger to himself and others, so he was detained for the incident. Hamilton-Tweedale was taken into custody for public intoxication.

DUI: Brandon Cato found stumbling around car, tells officers “Yes, I drank a buzz ball”

24-year-old Brandon Cato was involved in a car accident on April 5th. When officers arrived, they observed Cato stumbling around his vehicle. They asked Cato if he had anything to drink, and he replied, “Yes, I drank a buzz ball.” When officers asked for his driver’s license, he handed over his vape, stating, “I put my license in my vape.” Cato then gave officers his debit card and said, “here’s my license.” Eventually, Cato handed over the proper credentials after several attempts to search for them. Cato consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Cato also agreed to a breath test and scored a .147% BAC. Brandon Cato was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.

Sekori Jones Brown tells police “I’m drunk” after harassing people outside of Hard Rock Cafe

23-year-old Sekori Brown was seen harassing people outside Hard Rock Cafe on April 5th. When officers arrived, they made contact with Brown, who told them, “I’m drunk.” Security at the location informed officers that  Brown was trying to enter a stage that had just been set up. When officers made contact with Brown, they noticed a strong odor of alcohol. Officers told Brown to find a friend to pick him up. Instead of pulling out a cell phone to make the call, Brown pulled out a vape and acted as if he was entering numbers on it. After being told that his vape was not a phone, Brown was asked if he knew a number law enforcement could call, but he responded with, ” Brian… He’s in the catalog.” Officers deemed Brown a danger to himself, so he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Tommie Fiffer grabs a man’s buttocks without consent

63-year-old Tommie Terry Fiffer inappropriately touched Keelan Guthrie while he was working on March 16th. Guthrie alerted the authorities and advised them that while he was engaged in his duties, he was approached from behind by a man, later identified as Fiffer. He further explained that Fiffer placed one hand on his shoulder and, with his other hand, grabbed his buttocks. Guthrie said he had not consented to this and found it highly offensive. Guthrie took a photo of Fiffer as he walked away. The photo showed a man wearing a blue hat, blue shirt, and blue pants with black and white tennis shoes. Guthrie then filed a police report and advised that he did not know the man’s name but had seen him on previous occasions and believed he was homeless.

On March 21st, officers observed Fiffer near 3rd Avenue South and Broadway, wearing the same outfit from Guthrie’s photograph. Fiffer identified himself with his Tennessee Identification card. Guthrie was unable to identify him in a photo line-up, but detectives were able to identify him after reviewing body-worn camera footage. Fiffer was then taken into custody on April 8th for sexual battery.
