Cheatham County Correctional Officer Mason Carr has been arrested, charged bringing drugs into the jail where he worked, among other charges. He was booked into the Cheatham County Jail and is currently being held in Montgomery County pending a bond hearing.
The Davidson County Grand Jury has indicted former Cheatham County Deputy Tyler Temple for his role in an off-duty assault on a civilian at Top Golf in Nashville in December. Matthew Jordan Cherry, 22, was arrested early Friday morning on 7 outstanding warrants, including one that included the robbery of the Joelton Church of Christ last July. According to court records, in July of last year, Matthew Cherry broke into the Joelton Church of Christ and stole property belonging to the church at 12:36 AM on a Friday morning.
