65-year-old Ronald David Higgins is accused of throwing a phone which struck his wife in the face as they were “discussing the music at church,” according to the victim, Patricia Higgins. She says he remained agitated and picked up the phone from the floor and again struck her in the face, leaving bruising that was documented by responding officers.
David Jones says his boyfriend, 28-year-old Joshua Crawford, woke him up from his sleep by yelling and screaming at him while holding his phone and asking him about things on it. As Jones reached up to retrieve his phone, he says Joshua Crawford punched him in the face to knock him back then continued to punch, scratch, and bite him. He then escaped to a bathroom, locked the door, and called police. Police documented multiple injuries on the victim’s body and took Crawford into custody.
24-year-old Jared Beard was found asleep behind the wheel of his car at an intersection just south of downtown Nashville and admitted to drinking prior to driving. Police say he agreed to a breathalyzer, a demonstrated he could blow hard enough, however, when his lips met the actual machine, he wouldn’t blow hard enough for it to register. He also urinated on himself multiple times while speaking to police, and in the back of a patrol car.
55-year-old Denyce Jones was charged with resisting arrest and a violation of her conditional release after a domestic disturbance in an apartment. Jones’ violation stems from reportedly attempting to stab her husband when coming home from church back in December.
72-year-old David Aldous is charged with the domestic assault of his wife. The couple was at Cici’s Pizza after church on Sunday, when she says he became aggressive. They later tried to get out of the car, at which time she says David struck her. He is free on a $1,500 cash bond.
Jamie Tice, who told police she had sex with her daughter’s 14-year-old boyfriend in ‘every room of the house’ was just found guilty on multiple statutory rape charges in a Sumner County courtroom today, and was immediately taken into custody.
While working as an armed security guard at a Nashville church, 53-year-old David Delgado, of Antioch, impersonated a police officer while attempting to intimidate a member of the church. He was arrested and charged on November 1st.
Barry Creque, 46, has been found guilty of sexual exploitation of a minor and will report to jail on August 31st in Nashville to serve the 6 months ‘behind bars’ portion of his sentence.
Kristy Hammersley, 34, was taken into custody on Monday and charged with two outstanding warrants for theft from an East Nashville Church
