DUI: Christopher Sanders blows 0.222% BAC after North Nashville Crash

25-year-old Christopher Sanders was involved in an automobile crash on Clarksville Pike on May 30. Responding officers reported he reeked of alcohol and was visibly intoxicated. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.222% BAC on a breathalyzer. Sanders was transported to booking and charged with DUI.

Harold Spicer charged with DUI on NYE after drinking shots of Fireball Whisky

52-year-old Harold Spicer put his car in reverse on I-65N on New Year’s Eve and backed into a concrete barrier. An off-duty detective happened to also be on the interstate and witnessed the unusual behavior. First responders say Spicer was found asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle and was visibly intoxicated. Spicer, who had urinated on himself, admitted to drinking three shots of Fireball whisky prior to driving.

DUI: Chrestien Jordan Ivey crashes in parking lot after taking Percocet and smoking marijuana

Police responded to the UPS parking lot on Whites Creek Pike Tuesday morning after multiple reports of a man passed out behind the wheel of a truck that had struck multiple vehicles. Officers arrived to find 24-year-old Chrestien Jordan Ivey, who stated he drove there to look for a red truck when he was in a collision in the parking lot. It wasn’t immediately clear why he was searching for another vehicle. Ivey admitted to taking a Percocet and smoking marijuana prior to driving and was nodding off during the interaction. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

VIDEO: MNPD Detective decommissioned after assaulting a homeless man on a public street

The Metro Nashville Police Department has decommissioned Detective William Thorowgood after he assaulted a homeless man on a public roadway outside his home, who he claimed was littering. He attacks the man, knocking him to the ground and placing a knee on his chest while telling him he’s detained and he would be in cuffs if he had them with him. Thorowgood, who has been with the department for ten years and served as a Fraud Detective, reported the incident to his supervisor on Monday, December 12, and was decommissioned the same day. After the assault in the video [full 17 minutes included in the story], Thorowgood calls 911 and reports the homeless man is armed and advancing toward him, both of which the video shows to be untrue. Illinois Realtor Adrian Cave charged in Valentine’s Day rape in Nashville

32-year-old Illinois Realtor Adrian Cave was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday after a Davidson County Grand Jury indicted him on a charge of rape. The true bill returned by the Grand Jury in May alleges that Adrian May raped a person on Valentine’s Day of 2021 in Nashville.

Hunter Bilyeu charged with disorderly conduct despite being given the chance to walk away

Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville Saturday responded to 6th & Broadway, where they observed 20-year-old Hunter Bilyeu yelling and fighting another individual. Officers separated the parties, and the victim did not want to press assault charges. Officers told Bilyeu to go on about his night and leave the area, but he refused and continued to be aggressive and once again started to fight the other individual in front of police. He was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

Justin Hunter booked on citation for 113 mph/reckless driving on a motorcycle on I-65

27-year-old Justin Tyler Hunter was booked on a citation this week charging him with reckless driving on a motorcycle on I-65 near Rivergate Parkway. The officer reports clocking Hunter at 113 mph in a 70 mph zone as he attempted to pass other motorcycles and weaved through traffic. He was eventually stopped and issued a state citation. After self-booking on July 25th, he was given a court date to appear in September.

DUI: Man says he had a “couple of beers” before driving on Christmas Eve: 89 in a 65 — Cameron Myatt

32-year-old Cameron ‘Cam’ Myatt was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on Christmas Eve after a THP State Trooper paced him doing 89 in a 65 mph zone.

During the traffic stop, Myatt admitted to having “a couple of beers” prior to driving, and he performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Myatt was charged with DUI 1st, and is free on pre-trial release.
