Xavier Rolle issued citations for cocaine & prohibited gun possession in Nashville

22-year-old Xavier Rolle was issued a state citation for cocaine possession and carrying a prohibited weapon after police conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle in late October when they observed expired plates on his vehicle, which was traveling at a high rate of speed. During the traffic stop, Rolle advised officers he had a gun in the vehicle, that it belonged to him, and it was under the back seat passenger’s legs. Officers retrieved the gun, which was a short-barrel shotgun — a prohibited weapon in Tennessee. During a pat down search, a grinder was discovered, which had multiple small baggies of white powder inside that tested positive for cocaine. Rolle was booked on the citations this week and has retained Bobby Ballinger as counsel.

Keosha Higgins charged after cappin’ about her identity to police during traffic stop

24-year-old Keosha Higgins was jailed this week on two outstanding citations from June 2021, charging her with criminal impersonation and driving on a suspended license. The citations came about during a traffic stop for a handsfree law violation in the Gulch during which she claimed to be “Triana Stratton” and provided a SSN that returned to a male’s identity. She eventually admitted she was using her cousin’s name and had a suspended license.

Metro Council member Bob Mendes struck by van while bicycling in West Nashville

Metro Council member-At-Large Bob Mendes was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle Tuesday morning at 51st & Charlotte Ave. Mendes posted on social media shortly after the accident, stating “In the bike lane…slow enough speed where it looks like a scraped knee and an adrenaline dump might be the worst of it for me. Not sure about the bike yet.” #developing

DUI: Man found with tequila, and a handgun in his pink handbag — Marvin Drew arrested

When police pulled him over for a traffic stop, an officer noticed a nearly empty bottle of Adictivo Tequila in the vehicle of 36-year-old Marvin Drew, and a 9mm handgun magazine in his lap. When asked where his gun was located, Drew pointed to his pink handbag, which is where officers retrieved a Taurus G2c and several rounds of ammo.

Drew was charged with DUI, open container, possession of a weapon under the influence, and violation of the implied consent law. He is free on pre-trial release.

20-year-old Joshua Wilson was charged with possession of alcohol under 21 and unlawful possession of a weapon after being pulled over and a search that produced a gun and open bottle of liquor.

Nashville Bail Bondsman Ron Sermons has been charged with felony drug possession with intent to distribute, and felony handgun possession, after he was found in possession of a backpack full of THC Cartridges and a loaded Glock on Briley Parkway.

A routine traffic stop in North Nashville, where both occupants of a vehicle denied having drugs and refused a strip search, resulted in DCSO Booking officers finding their buttocks stuffed with heroin and cocaine. Ladarrius Page & Ronnie Sims were arrested.
