Cathy Turner walks out of Walmart with $30K in cash — then confesses, then withdraws her statement

61-year-old Cathy Turner is free on a $5,000 bond after confessing to walking out of the Walmart cash room, where she worked, with $30,860.00 according to police. Walmart management discovered a $13,700 deposit shortage on March 7th, and after reviewing security footage it was discovered that employee Cathy Turner was taking cash from the cash room and taking those bags to the restrooms in the rear of the store, where she then would leave the store with it.

Additional research discovered her taking $7,600 on February 6th, and another $9,500 on February 19th. She provided a written statement to Walmart Loss Prevention during an interview. When she spoke with police, she stated “I know this was wrong, I’ve never done anything like this before”, then requested to withdraw the written statement she had provided.

19-year-old Tonisha Mitchell was booked on an outstanding warrant Tuesday, charging her with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury. Court documents reveal she was identified after she arrived at the Madison Police Precinct to retrieve property she lost during an altercation at Walmart. During that altercation, she and her boyfriend confronted a store employee they had ongoing issues with as he was clocking out. As her boyfriend began to assault the victim, identified as Tavarius Cameron, Tonisha reportedly swung a hammer at the victim, and when someone took the hammer from her she took the box cutter from the victim’s pants and sliced him with it. The victim suffered lacerations to his head requiring stitches. Tonisha Mitchell is jailed in lieu of a $150,000 bond.

41-year-old woman charged with stalking new girlfriend of her ex-boyfriend — Ebony Foxx arrested

41-year-old Ebony Patrice Foxx was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Thursday, charged with stalking Bianca Marie McClain. Court records allege Foxx followed her to multiple places, including Walmart and Ponobes. One time she asked someone to let her out of the vehicle so she could assault her, and she later appeared at Ponobes Party Bar & Grille after McClain posted on social media that she would be there. Foxx reportedly “popped up” and said “What’s up now!” before security had to escort McClain to her car. The beef reportedly stems from McClain being in a relationship with her ex-lover. She is free on pre-trial release.

The pair have been split up romantically since February, yet he comes to the store asking for things approximately once per week.
