Jarrett Snipe jailed after multiple assaults on girlfriend

31-year-old Jarrett Snipe of BLK Rose Boxing was jailed early Wednesday on three outstanding warrants charging him with domestic and aggravated assaults. In January, his girlfriend Shelby Miller reported he picked her up by her shirt collar and slammed her against a door during an argument. She says he then twisted her shirt collar until she could no longer breathe and lost consciousness. Officers documented injuries from that assault. In March, the two were having another argument when she was looking over his shoulder as he sitting on the couch. When he realized she was looking, he slapped her in the face and then grabbed her, and pinned her against the wall until she fell to the floor. He then reportedly went outside and retrieved a gun case, and brought it inside, stating, “I have something for you. I will blow your head off.”

Mahomed Yusuf charged after doing burnouts on Broadway

19-year-old Mahomed Yusuf was driving his red Dodge Charge on Broadway late Tuesday night as he did 9 “burn-outs” in ten minutes on Broadway, filling the streets with smoke. An officer noticed the smoke and conducted a traffic stop after he failed to stop at 4th & Commerce. The rear tires of the vehicle were balding past the wear bars and the inner wheel wells had begun to melt. Yusuf was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving.

Bar 3000 employee Christopher McGee jailed after lying to police about shooting

26-year-old Bar 3000 employee Christopher McGee is charged with giving a false report to police during a New Year’s Eve shooting at the troubled establishment. Metro Nashville Police officers were conducting a shooting investigation, and McGee gave multiple false statements to police about the incident. Video footage later confirmed McGee was knowingly lying to police to prevent the suspect from being apprehended.

Ethan Morris & Anna Kuba both jailed after neither could act like an adult during a fight

25-year-old Ethan Morris and his ex-girlfriend, 32-year-old Anna Kuba, were both jailed Sunday after neither could act like a full-grown adult. Ethan says Anna sent him text messages, but he was downtown and didn’t notice them. Once he was home, she showed up at his home and, using a key from when she lived there, entered the residence and began to argue. She reportedly threatened to get him fired from his job, and he took her phone, so she could not make that phone call. She then struck him in the side of the neck, leaving scratch marks, and dented his guitar case by kicking it, destroying a wall outlet in the process. He then placed her in a “rear-naked choke and full body block,” which resulted in her nearly passing out. Both parties were transported to jail.

Street Racer Junior Vega flees from police after car meet

Metro Police were conducting patrols for street racers near Vantage Way and Great Circle Way Saturday when they encountered approximately sixty vehicles in a private parking lot “drag racing and doing burnouts,” according to the officer. As the officer pulled into the lot, vehicles began to flee. Officer Cantrell pulled behind a 1986 Honda Prelude, driven by 18-year-old Junior Vega, and activated his emergency lights. The officer used his PA system to give commands to stop, however, the vehicle continued to flee. At one point, Vega stopped long enough for the officer to exit his vehicle and approach Vega’s car. Vega then quickly fled the scene, leaving the officer standing on the side of the road. Another officer was able to stop Vega some distance away, and he was taken into custody.

24-year-old tourist Jessica Eaton was having an argument with her boyfriend, Brendan Polichronopoulos, in the early hours of Monday morning on Spence Lane. The victim told police she punched him, and Eaton admitted to the assault. The couple has been in an intimate relationship for approximately six months, according to their statements. East was transported to booking and charged with domestic assault.

Adam Ganzer charged in bedroom assault of girlfriend after going through her phone

26-year-old Adam Ganzer was reportedly in bed with his girlfriend, Victoria Barclay, Tuesday morning when he began to look at photos in her phone, starting an argument between the couple who lives together in Antioch. She says he ripped the phone from her hand and held it away from her. When she attempted to get it back, he shoved her, knocking her off the bed, which left visible injuries to her elbow. When interviewed by police, Ganzer stated, “She just got back from a four-day boating trip, and that is why she probably has shit on her body.” The victim was transported to the hospital, and Adam Ganzer was transported to jail.

Jordan Stone charged in assault of boyfriend, Nyitrell, during lovers’ quarrel

25-year-old Jordan Stone was jailed Thursday afternoon after attempting to strangle his boyfriend, Nyitrell Debardelaben. The two had an argument after Stone was talking on the phone with someone else. The scuffle originated in the bedroom and then spilled into the hallway of the Creekwood Drive apartment. Once in the hallway, Stone reportedly placed both hands around Nyitrell’s neck and attempted to strangle him. Officers documented visible marks on the victim’s neck.
