Taylor Conyers charged in assault of juvenile neighbor

20-year-old Taylor Conyers faced multiple charges after she and another person knocked on the door of a juvenile neighbor, pushed into the home, and began to attack a juvenile female. The two reportedly “jumped” the victim, punching her in the face before fleeing. Officers arrived and reviewed video doorbell footage of the two entering and exiting the apartment. The argument seems to be over an incident the night before when Conyers was accused of stealing packages that belonged to the victim’s grandmother.

Carl’e Hooks hooks discovers her ex-girlfriend with a new lover after breaking into her bedroom

18-year-old Carl’e Hooks told police she came to her ex-girlfriend’s house because she wasn’t answering the phone. When she arrived, she used a keycode she was no longer allowed to use to enter the home, where she does not reside. She then made her way upstairs to her ex-lover’s bedroom and discovered her there with another girl. A knock-down-drag-out fight ensued, leaving large amounts of hair pulled from heads and injuries to one of the victim’s neck and head.

Courtney Emery kicks in ex-boyfriend’s door, lays in his bed; assaults him; gunshot fired

30-year-old Courtney Emery kicked in the front door at the home of her ex-boyfriend, Ethan Opelt, just before 5 a.m. on January 25 and walked upstairs and lay in his bed while he was sleeping. He woke up and immediately told her to leave the residence and noticed she was extremely intoxicated. She then became aggressive and began to assault him. He felt in danger and armed himself with a nearby handgun, and they moved downstairs nearer to the door. Once in the living room, she began to assault him a second time, and the firearm was accidentally discharged during the struggle, firing into the ground. Officers noted multiple injuries on the victim, Emery’s shoe prints on the front door, a damaged door frame, and the destruction of the television and coffee table. A Neighbor, Larry Craig, also reported the gunshot to police.

Jacob Terry kicks in neighbor’s door & assaults him over trash can dispute

22-year-old Jacob Terry was at his mother’s home in Nashville, where he has been in a drawn-out battle with her neighbor over the placement of trash cans. The neighbor, Qiang Liu, moved the trashcans over a bit as they were directly in front of one of his windows. Late that night, Jacob kicked in the victim’s door and placed both of his fists under the victim’s chin, and threatened to beat him while yelling never to touch their trash cans again. The neighbor stated he wanted to handle this peacefully when Jacob knocked his glasses off his face. As Jacob was fleeing the home, he pushed the door into the victim, leaving him with an injury. A warrant was issued for Jacob’s arrest, and he was booked on that outstanding warrant for assault this week.

Israel Montiel Mezo charged with domestic assault after alleged rape of ex-girlfriend

33-year-old Israel Montiel Mezo is charged with burglary and domestic assault after his ex-girlfriend, Kimberly Black, says he forced his way into her hotel room, grabbed her and forced her onto the bed. She says he pulled down her clothing and penetrated her with his fingers as she screamed for help. As she got up to flee, she says he ripped her shirt as he also fled the scene. Officers documented abrasions on her neck and chest and issued warrants for Mezo’s arrest, charging him with domestic assault and aggravated burglary. He was booked on the outstanding warrants this week.

Joshua Murner breaks into ex-girlfriend’s home, assaults two people, throws food from fridge

Police say 27-year-old Joshua Murner went to the River Road home of Stevie Voss, who is his ex-girlfriend, just before 5 a.m. on a Sunday in late September, just two days after she ended the relationship. A camera captured him entering at 4:45 a.m., at which time he was yelling and screaming while heavily intoxicated. Voss says he grabbed her by the neck with both hands in an attempt to strangle her, then grabbed her wrists and bicep, leaving more bruises. Elizabeth O’Brien witnessed the assault and attempted to stop him, causing Murnder to grab her by both wrists, also injuring her. In the ten minutes before Murner fled the scene, and before police arrived, Murner also punched holes in four doors and took all of the food from the refrigerator, and threw it across the home, along with shattering glass across the floor. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was booked into jail Monday morning.

Jennifer Albrecht forces her way into neighbor’s apartment & assaults her

51-year-old Jennifer Albrecht is charged with felony aggravated burglary after police say she knocked on her downstairs neighbor’s door, forced her way inside, and assaulted the victim, Tyronda Jones. The victim was able to fight back, causing her to retreat to her own apartment. Her glasses were found inside the victim’s apartment, as Jones stated she had “knocked them off her head.”

Ron Rockhill charged with breaking into neighbor’s bedroom while she slept, stealing $60

Jimena Espindola was asleep in her home at 3:30 a.m. on June 22nd when she was awakened by a light in her room. She says she observed a man she recognized as her neighbor, 27-year-old Ron Rockhill, as the intruder. Fearing for her safety, she pretended to be asleep, and he soon fled the scene. She contacted police and reported the incident and that he had taken $60 in cash from her purse. She positively identified him from a photo lineup, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Rockhill was jailed on that warrant Tuesday, charging him with felony aggravated burglary.

Anthony Agnew breaks into ex’s apartment, sits beside her until she wakes up

Police say 32-year-old Anthony Agnew came to an empty apartment on the 4th floor beside his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and broke into that unit so that he could crawl out the window to access the balcony of the next-door apartment of his ex-girlfriend, Lauren Davis. He then reportedly entered her residence while she was sleeping. She says she woke up with her sitting next to her with his hand on her hip. She was in extreme fear he would assault her and explained she needed to leave for work. He was upset that she had changed her number and agreed to leave after she gave him her current Snapchat as a way to communicate. As he left, she contacted police who located him at a nearby truck stop and arrested him for this burglary and two other outstanding warrants for violating orders of protection.

Jennifer Cotto burglarized a dead man’s home, used his bank cards on a shopping spree

Robert Taylor, Jr., was found dead at his Rosebank Ave home in East Nashville on May 27th. His friend & employer noticed that days after his death, someone was using his bank cards. Detectives reviewed security footage from the home and found that 29-year-old Jennifer Cotto used a pry bar to enter the deceased man’s home, and she was also seen on footage from a local Walgreens using one of his cards. During an interview, she admitted to breaking into the home and stealing his cards to make purchases with.
