23-year-old Kayla Sanders was jailed after driving through a traffic barricade while drunk at Franklin Pike and Norwood Dr. On Mar 4th, powerlines and tree debris were down in the roadway. Officers were at a fixed post with barricades up to prohibit driving onto the debris when a white 2016 BMW drove through the barricade. When officers asked Sanders if she saw the barricade, she stated that she only saw blue lights and slowed down when she saw the tree debris. She was headed towards Spring Hill after leaving her friend’s house. Sanders admitted she had attended a concert and had two beers two hours before the stop. She agreed to sobriety tests and performed poorly, and was taken into custody.

Mark Northrup bounced from Honky Tonk Central after making woman uncomfortable
32-year-old Mark Northrup was reportedly making a woman uncomfortable at Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning. She alerted a security guard, who asked Northrup to leave the bar. The bouncer, Mark Thomas, says Northrup chest-bumped him before he escorted him to the door. Near the exit, Northup fell to the floor and grabbed the bouncer’s leg. Police were nearby and observed Northrup to be heavily intoxicated. He was charged with assault and public intoxication.
Tristan Winters uses rope and paperclips in attempt to break into ex-girlfriend’s apartment
Police responded to a Lebanon Pike apartment in the early hours of Saturday morning to find 19-year-old Tristan Winters, also known as artist Elis Cole, attempting to break into the apartment of his ex-girlfriend, Gabrielle Orr. Winters had a rope and paperclips, which he had fashioned into lock-picking tools. Winters explained that the two had an argument, and he came to the victim’s apartment to talk to her. When she didn’t answer the door, he used the roper to try to climb up and onto the balcony but was unsuccessful. He then used the paperclips to attempt to unlock her door but admitted he “wasn’t very good at it.” Winters was taken into custody and charged with felony attempted aggravated burglary. The victim says she was in fear of him due to threats he has made to her life in the past.
Brad Adams tells police he did “booger sugar” prior to nodding out & crashing his car
45-year-old Brad Adams was found unconscious behind the wheel of his 2017 Nissan Altima, which had just crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Hwy 100 and Old Hickory Blvd last month. First responders administered Narcan to Adams, which ushered life back into him. Adams explained he had taken “Booger Sugar,” further clarifying he snorted cocaine. Officers noted both his pinpoint pupils and an empty bottle of vodka in his vehicle. Adams was transported to the hospital and cited for DUI. He was booked on that citation this week.
Michael Gallagher, Jr. charged with DUI after crashing into South Nashville utility pole
Metro Nashville Police say 32-year-old Michael Gallagher Jr. was driving South on Nolensville Pike when he had to swerve to avoid rear-ending the vehicle ahead of him due to his speed. As he ran off the road he struck a utility pole and officers responded to the scene. Gallagher admitted to drinking “two 10oz Bud Lights” with tacos a couple of hours prior to driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking and charged with DUI.
Lauren Love charged with assault of girlfriend who flushed her drugs down the toilet
Nicole Reed tells police she found methamphetamine on the dresser of her girlfriend, 30-year-old Lauren Love. She says she had already wanted her if she ever found drugs in the apartment she was ending the relationship. As she flushed the drugs down the toilet, she says Love began assaulting her with punches and kicks to her body. she also pulled her purse strap around her neck for a few seconds until it broke. Officers observed injuries to the victim’s hand, arm, and back. A warrant was issued for Love’s arrest, and she was booked on it this week.

27-year-old Charlene Nemecheck is charged with DUI (driving under the influence) after leaving a hockey game earlier this week. Police say she failed to maintain her lane of travel on Lebanon Pike and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She admitted to drinking prior to driving and blew almost double the legal limit on a breathalyzer.
