Double-Murder Suicide in Senior Living Neighborhood on Cana Circle near Belle Meade.
Gail Andrews-Miller, 65, had driven to Cana Circle near Belle Meade, a senior-only residence, shared by her sister and mother, Rachel Andrews, 97, & Barbara Andrews, 69. She brought a 5-shot revolver with her, leaving her holster at her home on Sneed Rd. She walked to the rear of the home, to the TV room, and opened fire on her mother and sister, shooting them both in the chest. She then turned the gun on herself.
Nashville Underground sued; bouncer charged after attacking black couple, body-slammed female, left both bleeding
Bouncer Jordan Frye stopped the elevator doors and got into the elevator with the patrons. Once inside the elevator, Frye is charged with punching the black male patron in the face, then grabbing the black female, and body slamming her onto the floor of the elevator. Frye then picked up the male from behind, and placed him in a headlock.
Chunk of concrete, likely thrown from bridge, killed man on I-24 Tuesday morning
Joe C. Shelton, Jr., 54, from Pleasant view, has been identified as the man killed Tuesday morning when a large chunk of concrete came through the windshield of his Nissan GT-R sports car on I-24 near downtown
Nashville dentist prescribed 100’s of pills to habitual drug user patient, then hired her to work in his practice
Dentist Norman Cordice, who has practiced dentistry since 1982, has surrendered his license after the state board determined he was guilty of prescribing drugs to a habitual drug user, who he then hired to work at his practice. He prescribed 340 Hydrocodone, 420 Oxycodone, and 50 Tylenol w/Codeine, then left signed slips so the new ’employee’ could write herself a script, too.
Dejuan Bell gunned down Quincy Brown, who was riding on a Bird Scooter with a friend
Quincy Brown & Calais Hill were riding a bird scooter together when Dejuan Bell opened fire on them after an argument in East Nashville. Quincy Brown died from a gunshot wound to his head. Hill escaped without injuries. Dejuan Bell is charged with 1 count homicide, & 1 count attempted homicide.
Dr. Ronald Lubovich surrenders dental license: self-prescribed drugs, practiced while mentally unable to do so
Dr. Ronald Lubovich, well-known dentist to both his patients at Nashville Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry, and the state disciplinary board, has practiced on his last patient in Tennessee. Lubovich, who has practiced since 1968, will surrender his license after multiple disciplinary board infractions over nearly two decades. In October of last year, after an already extensive disciplinary history going back decades, Dr. Lubovich entered into a consent order, which placed his license on probation, for providing an excessive amount of sedation to a patient, that was not in the course…
Dejuan Bell wanted for murder of Quincy Brown
East Precinct detectives have identified convicted felon Dejuan A. Bell as one of the men involved in the November 3rd fatal shooting of Quincy Brown, 19, in the 600 block of Dew Street. An arrest warrant charging Bell, 26, with criminal homicide has been issued.
3 arrested for smoking crystal meth at Nashville Wendy’s after-hours
Three people were arrested at the Wendy’s on 28th Ave North after closing on Sunday night, on multiple crystal meth related charges when officers observed all 3 smoking the substance with the back door propped open at 3:35 AM
