Juan “Johnny” Pena, 35, is charged with shoplifting and assault after he attempted to get past a reserve deputy working security at the Nolensville Road Walmart, and bit him in an attempt to flee.
John Larson, 34, was charged with domestic assault and bringing contraband in a penal institution after he fought with his ex-girlfriend and brought 18.2 grams of methamphetamine into the Metro Nashville Jail during his arrest.
24-year-old Kristan Parris is free on a $500 bond, after her boyfriend, Taylor Hayes, called Metro Police when she got rough with him during sex. He presented to police with two bite marks and several scratches to his back.
72-year-old David Aldous is charged with the domestic assault of his wife. The couple was at Cici’s Pizza after church on Sunday, when she says he became aggressive. They later tried to get out of the car, at which time she says David struck her. He is free on a $1,500 cash bond.
31-year-old Landon Wilkinson is charged with DUI and unlawful possession of a controlled substance after he was found asleep in his vehicle while it was running. Inside the vehicle was an open container of alcohol, and a soda lid attached to a wrench, used for smoking marijuana. He is free on a $3500 bond.
40-year-old Arron Machelle Denton was charged with domestic assault after she and her partner were invited to stay the night at a random couple’s house they met at the New Year’s Eve celebration in Downtown Nashville. Once at the host’s residence, Denton drank more, and became “extremely intoxicated, violent”, and was hysterical, according to Metro Police.
27-year-old Lakelynn Bennett is charged with felony aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury after she accused her boyfriend of cheating and attacked him. Police found the victim with lacerations, a bite mark, and his nose pointing at a 30-degree angle, off-center to his face.
Metro Police say 32-year-old Christina Samford attacked her cousin for being on the phone while on a visit to Antique Archaeology in Nashville. A video shows Samford pull the victim out of a truck and onto the ground, where the victim was punched and kicked.
28-year-old Shawnveccheo Swain is charged with promoting prostitution after admitting to “providing security” for female sex workers at the Lotus Inn and Suites in Nashville. He brought the women from Memphis and paid for the rooms while they worked.
