According to police, Michele drove her vehicle off the road at Donelson Pike and Citation Dr. When officers arrived at the scene, they found an open alcoholic container in the floorboard of her vehicle, and Michele was displaying clear signs of intoxication. Officers initiated field sobriety tests but were unable to complete them due to her level of intoxication. She was subsequently taken into custody and transported to General Hospital for a consented blood draw before being booked into jail.

Jada Branigan hits roommate in head with metal kitchen pan in heated argument

Jada Branigan is charged with assault with a deadly weapon after reportedly assaulting her roommate, McKenzie Madkins. Police say Jada hit McKenzie over the head with a metal pan after McKenzie told Jada to move out. Jada says while that’s true, McKenzie hit her first. Jada had no visible injuries and refused all medical assistance, while McKenzie had a visible knot on her head and received medical assistance from Nashville Fire Medics.

Jason Mcintire charged in attempted murder of his brother during home renovation dispute

47-year-old Jason McIntire was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with the attempted murder of his brother, Brian Patrick Mcintire. According to the police, Jason and his brother were renovating a house on Shihmen Ct in Antioch when he got fed up with being berated by his brother for his work renovating a shower. He went outside to calm down, but after walking around for a period of time, he grabbed his .357 revolver from the company box truck and went back inside to his brother began berating him again, and Jason fired two shots at close range. At least one of the two shots struck the victim in the upper abdomen. There was a brief scuffle over control of the gun, and two more shots were fired. Once Jason regained control of the gun, he went back outside and put the gun back in the truck. A third person, Rhonda Ellis, was working with the Mcintire Brothers, told police she didn’t witness the altercation but did find the victim lying on the floor moaning afterward, and Brian told her it was Jason who shot him.

DUI: Sejal Desai charged after falling asleep while driving; drank “two IPAs” at a party

43-year-old Sejal Desai says she consumed two IPA beers, including a “Bearded Iris” at a party before falling asleep behind the wheel of her car in the early hours of Thursday morning. Police and medics arrived to find her still sleeping and woke her up. She stated she was disoriented and tired while driving and fell asleep but later admitted her disorientation was due to being intoxicated. She was charged with DUI.

Desmon Davidson, 20, had “seven or eight” shots of liquor before driving

20-year-old Desmon Davidson was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning and charged with underage driving while impaired, underage possession of alcohol, and driving with an open container. Officers responded to a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 24 southeast of Downtown Nashville where they found Desmon in the driver seat, displaying clear signs of intoxication. Davidson performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and admitted to consuming “seven to eight shots” of liquor prior to driving. Inside the vehicle was an open bottle of liquor. In September 2022, Davidson pleaded a DUI charge down to reckless driving in a deferred judgment agreement.

Arrica Brown pulls up and punches Tyceanna Steele after making threats all day

25-year-old Arrica A. Brown was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail early Thursday afternoon for an outstanding warrant from January, charging her with assault. The warrant alleges Arrica went to the home of Tyceanna Steele-Fitzgerald and demanded she come outside after she had sent harassing and threatening text messages all day. Tyceanna and her fiancé Charles stepped outside to de-escalate the situation when Arrica allegedly struck Tyceanna in the face repeatedly and fled the scene. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Kenneth Doughtery charged with underage alcohol sales at Titans Game

60-year-old Kenneth Dougherty was booked on a citation Tuesday, charging him with selling alcohol to an underage person at a Titans game in November. TABC agents say he sold a Michelob Ultra to a person working as an undercover agent, who provided an ID with a DOB of 05/03/03, making them appear as a 19-year-old. Doughtery reportedly checked the ID and still sold them the alcohol.

Anthony Chappell jailed after smoking marijuana on 27th floor of downtown Nashville hotel

31-year-old Anthony Chappell was arrested this past Sunday morning by petty Metro Nashville Police Officer Cory Fetner after staff at the JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Nashville reported he was smoking marijuana on the 27th floor of the hotel. Police were flagged down by staff after Chappell refused to leave. Chappell, who has no priors in Nashville, was taken into physical custody and charged with criminal trespass and possession of one-half gram of marijuana.

Mina Yousef assaults wife, kicks son in stomach

45-year-old Mina Yousef was arrested Saturday afternoon for two counts of domestic assault. Police say Mina was having an argument with his wife, Amira, when he got in her face and said to her, “DON’T MAKE ME DO IT.” Fearing for her life, Amira pushed her husband away, but he pushed back and hit her hands away. Their juvenile son, having seen this decided to intervene by putting himself between his parents. Mina responded by kicking his son in the stomach.

Kiara Neely charged in assault of sister, Ciara Neely

19-year-old Kiara Kalandra Neely was arrested Sunday and charged with domestic assault. Police say the incident began Saturday evening when Kiara’s sister, Ciara Neely, refused to leave Kiara’s apartment. Kiara called police and stated her sister Ciara had a stick and was refusing to leave. Kiara admitted to hitting her sister first to get her to leave. During the ensuing fight, Kiara punched Ciara in the stomach and slapped her in the face. Ciara also says her sister bit her hand. Police observed no physical injuries to Kiara, but Ciara had scratches on her face and hand. When asked to clarify the use of the stick, Kiara told police Ciara didn’t hit anyone with the stick. At this point, police determined Kiara Neely to be the primary aggressor and placed her under arrest for domestic assault, and transported her to booking.
