Nashville Police charge Isaiah Yancey with 0.5 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop

24-year-old Isaiah ‘Zay’ Kahlil Yancey was booked on a citation this week after Metro Nashville Police found 0.5 grams of marijuana inside his gym bag during a traffic stop outside the Mercy Lounge on July 22nd for alleged expired tags. Officers say there was a “strong smell” of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and when asked, Yancy volunteered that there was a small amount of marijuana in the Altima.

Fashion ‘trend setter’ “Image Don” Trey Garriques caught stealing at Dillard’s at the Mall at Green Hills

Things aren’t always as they appear — 23-year-old Trey Garriques has social media pages filled with photographs of him in expensive clothing at expensive restaurants with some of the most expensive backdrops in the city, portraying a well-funded lifestyle. Dillard’s of The Mall at Green Hill would like a word. Store security detailed Garriques on August 11th after observing him conceal 2 pair of designer sunglasses under some other clothing and visit the fitting room. After exiting the fitting room, the wanna-be fashionista made a dash for the door and passed all points of sale. The items were recovered from his person and he was issued a citation for shoplifting. He was booked on the warrant this week.

Craig Toney causes $20K of damages to Opryland hotel during assault of girlfriend and stepfather

26-year-old Robert “Craig” Toney was jailed this weekend on multiple charges of domestic assault and vandalism after a night at the Opryland Hotel left the rural Georgia family in a bloody brawl. Craig initially was in a verbal argument with his girlfriend, Kelsea Lafferty Toney, and he grabbed her by the throat, strangling her, knocking her to the bed, and then to the floor, assaulting her the entire time. Craig’s stepfather, Ray Adkins, attempted to intervene, and Craig punched him in the mouth, causing visible injuries. Damages to the hotel room, the exterior hallway, the blood-soaked carpets, walls, beds, hallway, and wallpaper, are estimated to be up to $20,000.

Stephen Brandon assaults boyfriend with wallet, leaving him bloody and injured

48-year-old Stephen Andrew Brandon was at a Clarksville Pike hotel with his lover, Anthony Patrick Finn, when an argument erupted over a wallet. Stephen left the room with Patrick’s wallet, mistaking it for his own. As soon as he noticed the mistake, he says he returned to the room, and an argument began. The argument escalated until Stephen became so upset he threw the wallet at Patrick’s face, resulting in minor injuries and bleeding. Patrick struck him back twice; however, Brandon was deemed to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody, charged with domestic assault with bodily injury.

Daniel Marchesi cited for selling wine to a minor at West Meade Wine & Liquor

TABC’s undercover informant ‘Daphne’ was back in action as she attempted to buy a bottle of Mark West California Pinot Noir at West Meade Wine & Liquor on July 28th using a Tennessee ID with a DOB of 08/18/2003. The store’s clerk, 26-year-old Daniel Marchesi, who is currently out on bond for a DUI charge, reportedly sold her the 750 ml bottle while the transaction was witnessed by TABC Special Agent Williams. He is cited for selling alcohol to a minor.

Jez Castillo jailed for harassment of ex-girlfriend, attempting to break into her home

Metro Nashville Police responded to a home on 11th Ave N. on Monday after Rachel Elrod called to report her ex-boyfriend, 31-year-old Jezreel Castillo, was attempting to gain entry to her home. Castillo was able to make entry into the attached garage but was unable to make entry into the living area as the interior door lock was engaged. Elrod says Castillo then began to text and call her repeatedly — 15 times within 30 minutes in a threatening and harassing manner, leaving her in fear for her life. He fled prior to police arriving but was booked on the charges a few hours later.

Julian Keith fires shotgun into ground twice; threatens to blow someone’s head off

Metro Nashville Police arrived at a residence on Clearbrook Drive Saturday to find multiple bullet holes in the grass of the yard, as well as a shotgun shell. Christian Venson called 911 to report that his girlfriend’s brother, 36-year-old Julian Michael Keith knocked on his door then he heard a gunshot. He had also knocked on the door of his mother, Julia Keith. As Venson ventured outside with his girlfriend, Johanna Keith, they observed Julian standing with a shotgun in his hand. He began ranting about an incident from two months prior and stated he was angry. He then asked Venson, “Do you want to come to get the gun out of my hands?” Venson replied “no” to the question, and Keith continued, “Because I would blow your head off.” Venson told him that he didn’t want to die today, prompting Keith to turn and fire another shot into the ground with the shotgun. Keith then fled in his vehicle before officers arrived. He was then located and taken into custody. Venson says he believes Keith acted this way because he had been up for 24 hours due to his ADHD.

Tourist Cody Allen Stout wouldn’t stop asking strangers for drugs in downtown bar #GotDrugs?

28-year-old Cody Allen Stout, who visited Nashville from Ohio this weekend, was determined to find more than alcohol when he visited Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar early Saturday evening around dinner time. Security at the location says he annoyed both staff and other patrons while attempting to purchase drugs, asking everyone if they had any drugs available to sell him. He refused to leave when asked, and Metro Nashville Police took him into custody for criminal trespass.

Kaitlyn Pilgrim found drunk & disorderly in downtown Nashville

21-year-old Kaitlyn Pilgrim took a tumble at 10:30 p.m. Friday near 2nd & Broadway as a result of her extreme level of intoxication. She was reportedly very combative with passersby, and when officers approached her, she cried, screamed, and swatted at them. She would quickly swap from being relaxed to inconsolable. She was belligerent with paramedics who attempted to assist her and aggressively pulled away from them. Due to her inability to care for herself, Pilgrim was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Hunter Bilyeu charged with disorderly conduct despite being given the chance to walk away

Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville Saturday responded to 6th & Broadway, where they observed 20-year-old Hunter Bilyeu yelling and fighting another individual. Officers separated the parties, and the victim did not want to press assault charges. Officers told Bilyeu to go on about his night and leave the area, but he refused and continued to be aggressive and once again started to fight the other individual in front of police. He was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.
