34-year-old Hunter Bowman was found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle at 1st & Mollow St. in downtown Nashville Friday. First responders say the vehicle was running and had been traveling in the wrong direction on the roadway. He reportedly became combative when they attempted to wake him up and reeked of alcohol, according to police on the scene. Bowman admitted to consuming “3 or 4” alcoholic drinks prior to driving.
Metro Nashville Police say first responders found 32-year-old Gerik Pennock passed out in the driver’s seat of his vehicle at 200 James Robertson Parkway in downtown Nashville Monday night. Nashville Fire had had him loaded into their unit for evaluation when officers arrived and found an open container of alcohol in the black Jetta, which was registered to Pennock. There was only about 1/4th of the bottle remaining. Pennock admitted to drinking prior to driving but would not state how much he had consumed. He has a prior DUI conviction in Michigan.
29-year-old Torriano Fields told police “Yes, I smacked her, I was upset with her” when they responded to a domestic disturbance call on in Antioch on March 15th. Hi girlfriend, Angela Hill, called 911 to report the assault and stated the pair had been arguing all day long. Fields is charged with domestic assault.
24-year-old Christopher Stowers told police he smoked marijuana 30 minutes prior to driving, and “blacked out” moments before he crashed into two other vehicles in Antioch this weekend, leaving those drivers with minor injuries. Inside the rental vehicle he was driving, police located two marijuana grinders and a pipe.
27-year-old Romina Khorshidi was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a felon possessing a handgun, drug paraphernalia, and theft after her vehicle tag came back not on file, and the vehicle VIN came back stolen.
28-year-old Mikeya Bigham was charged with aggravated assault after ramming into a woman’s vehicle multiple times and punching her. She was caught almost a year after the incident.
53-year-old Acebo Odalys was charged with theft of property after being caught on I-24, by LoJack, driving a vehicle stolen out of Miami.
24-year-old Keith Caldwell Jr was charged with aggravated burglary after he stole multiple items from his neighbor who lives in the apartment beneath his.
Mark Moses, of South Nashville, was arrested just before daylight Monday morning, as he told police repeatedly “it was the GPS’s fault” he was driving drunk on the wrong side of Bell Road. He was already out on pre-trial release from a January DUI, and he was soon be set free on it, a 2nd time.
21-year-old Anthony Preston Lowe remains jailed on a $30,000 bond today, charged with attempting to sell Xanax, methamphetamine, and marijuana on Bell Road in Antioch.
