Marvin Hughes charged with marijuana, Fentanyl, crack, cocaine, & more…

21-year-old Marvin Hughes was one of three individuals inside a white Jeep Wrangler that were observed to be backed into two parking spots at an airport extended say hotel on Elm Hill Pike in the early hours of Thursday morning. Police described the vehicle as “completely filled with smoke” and, due to drug activity in the area, stopped to ascertain if they were guests of the hotel. As they approached the vehicle, it was apparent the smoke was from marijuana, which was also admitted by all three. Inside the vehicle, officers located a scale, sandwich baggies, tin foil with burnt residue, multiple CBD bags, 230 grams of marijuana in three separate bags, 12 grams of Fentanyl, 2.3 grams of crack cocaine, 8 grams of cocaine, and $3,700 in cash. All three requested their lawyers and were transported to booking to be processed. Officers seized all items, money, drugs, and phones.

24-year-old Xavier Nicholson was booked this week on a citation after police saw him selling alcohol to passers-by on the streets of downtown Nashville. Officers witnessed Nicholson receive money for the alcoholic drinks and missed him a state citation. During the search of his person, police located a weed grinder with residue inside, a plastic weed container, and three packages of RAW rolling papers.

Hunter Eagle faces drug charges after officers notice expired tags on his vehicle

23-year-old Hunter Eagle was jailed May 9th after police found drug paraphernalia in his vehicle during a traffic stop. Detectives saw a black Nissan Altima parked at a business on Largo Drive outside of business hours with the engine running. When detectives ran the license plate, they discovered the registration was expired. Eagle told detectives that he didn’t have a driver’s license and gave his social security number to be identified. They found that Eagle had an active warrant from Maury County for a probation violation. The detectives noticed that there was drug paraphernalia in plain sight and Eagle advised that there would be more found in the vehicle. They found multiple loaded needles, a small amount of marijuana, a grinder and a metal spoon with burn marks and residue.

Unlicensed Archangel Security Guard Anthony Sloan charged with drugs & gun at BNA

Airport Police made contact with 28-year-old Anthony Sloan, who was manning a controlled gate at an outside construction area of the Nashville International Airport for Archangel Protective Services. During the conversation, Sloan reportedly had a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle he was sitting in. Inside the vehicle, officers found 2.4 ounces (68 grams) of loose marijuana flower in the back seat within a large plastic bag which the officer believes was the type used to package marijuana by the pound. A handgun was located in a bag in the front seat, along with a scale. The Tennessee Department of Commerce says Sloan applied for an unarmed security guard’s license on September 15th, which was denied based on a material misstatement on his application.

Michael Green charged with marijuana possession by petty Goodlettsville Police

19-year-old Michael Green was stopped by Goodlettsville Police on Rivergate Parkway, and during the encounter police say they developed probable cause to search the vehicle. Inside the vehicle, Officer William Campbell says he found drug paraphernalia and 14 grams of marijuana, for which he charged Green.

Former State Rep Jeremy Durham charged with DUI in late night downtown Nashville crash

Former State Representative Jeremy Durham was arrested overnight by the Metro Nashville Police Department. He is charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.

Just after 11 p.m. Saturday, Metro Nashville police responded to 1st & Broadway, where 38-year-old Jeremy Durham was involved in a motor vehicle collision. Officer Cote observed indicators of impairment to include slurred speech, dilated pupils, and Durham was unsteady on his feet.

Mr. Durham tried to walk away, at which point he was detained in a patrol car. Officers report they could smell the obvious odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath and person, his eyes were bloodshot and watery, and his speech appeared slow and mumbled.

When requested to perform field sobriety tests, Durham simply replied, “lawyer,” and gave the same answer repeatedly when asked about a blood test. Due to the other driver being injured, a search warrant was requested for Durham’s blood.

During a search incident to the arrest of Durham, officers located a green metal grinder with marijuana residue. He was additionally charged with possession of paraphernalia. When Officer Cote was placing him in handcuffs, he physically resisted by trying to pull away from Officer Cote, trying to prevent being secured in handcuffs.

Kelli Diaz, 55, found slumped over behind wheel with baggie of cocaine at McDonald’s

55-year-old Kelli Diaz faces DUI and drug possession charges after police say was found unconscious in the driver’s seat of her running vehicle at a McDonald’s. When first responders arrived, she had a small plastic bag containing cocaine in her hand and she was slumped over the center console. Three empty baggies with white powder residue were also found on the seat beside her, along with a snort straw. Prescription bottles containing Adderall, Diazepam, and Zoloft were also in the vehicle. She was charged with DUI, drug and paraphernalia possession, and given pre-trial release.

DUI: Man says he smoked marijuana 30 minutes prior to black-out crash — Christopher Stowers

24-year-old Christopher Stowers told police he smoked marijuana 30 minutes prior to driving, and “blacked out” moments before he crashed into two other vehicles in Antioch this weekend, leaving those drivers with minor injuries. Inside the rental vehicle he was driving, police located two marijuana grinders and a pipe.

DCSO Officers find bounty of booty in bussy of inmate — Craig Briley’s #PrisonPocket

26-year-old Craig Briley was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail after police determined he was a felon in possession of a handgun while riding in a car with William Anderson and Jada Stange, and she told police the gun wasn’t hers, despite the fact she was able to legally possess one.

Once at the Jail, located a homemade ‘tube’, created from electrical tape, deep inside Briley’s rectum by Officer Brian Burton which contained 24 grams of methamphetamine, 28 grams of marijuana, and a MicroSD card. Also found attached to Briley’s pen*s was a metal pill bottle with 5 ecstasy pills and another gram of meth. Briley is jailed in lieu of a $35,000 bond.

After cocaine & beer, man calls 911 to have a tow truck take him home. He walked to the restaurant — Timothy Odom

54-year-old Timothy Odom went to an East Nashville restaurant Wednesday and drank “a lot” of beer and snorted cocaine. He then convinced employees to call 911 for him, stating he was experiencing an emergency. Once officers arrived he explained he had stubbed his toe, and his phone wasn’t charged, both of which he believed to be genuine emergencies. He told officers what he really needed was for them to call a tow truck for him, so he could get home. Mr. Odom arrived on foot and did not have a vehicle.

Odom was charged with making a non-emergency 911 call ($50 bond), drug paraphernalia for the cut straws in his backpack ($1,000 bond), and public intoxication ($50 bond). He is jailed in lieu of a $1,100 bond.
