Nashville Attorney Michael Killen charged with DUI after crash

When Metro Police responded to a traffic crash in downtown Nashville, they found 41-year-old Michael Killen driving his red Saturn, which he had driven into the rear of another vehicle. Sgt. Amabile says he could smell alcohol coming from Killen, and observed obvious signs of impairment. Killen stated he drank alcohol, however, it was 24-hours prior to driving. He refused field sobriety tests and was taken into custody, charged with DUI, and given pre-trial release.

Intoxicated man found slumped behind wheel at intersection with child in car

26-year-old Fernando Juarez was charged with DUI with a child in the vehicle when he was found slumped over in his van at an intersection with open Bud Light cans visible in the vehicle.

61-year-old Leon Stinson was charged with DUI and driving on a revoked license when police found him passed out behind the wheel at a railroad crossing with his foot on the brake and a 40 ounce in the back seat.

..Officer Roark then conducted field sobriety tests, during which he asked Andrews to say his ABC’s from C to R. Andrews simply replied “A, B, C.” and stopped. An arrest report states Andrews failed multiple other field sobriety tests and agreed to take a breathalyzer test. His first result was a 0.18, the second result was a 0.20, and for the third test, he spit into the tube.

#DUI: Man pretends to balance on a surfboard instead of performing field sobriety tests, police say

21-year-old Stephen Lavoie was asked to perform a ‘9-step walk-and-turn’ during field sobriety tests Wednesday, but despite multiple instructions to actually walk, he remained in the same spot, balancing as if he were on a surf board, according to Metro police. Metro Nashville Police observed Stephen Lavoie driving a tan Toyota Sienna minivan at 2nd and Commerce in the early morning hours of May 15th.
