28-year-old Jimelle James, of Atlanta, was found at the Nashville International Airport late Tuesday with 98 psilocybin mushroom chocolate bars, commercially packaged as containing 5 grams each of premium shrooms – all weighing 12.2 pounds in total, 3 bags of commercially packaged marijuana weighing 7.89 oz, and 100 bags labeled ‘Kush Factory’. He’s facing multiple drugs charges for which a night court commissioner set his bond at $42,000, and he posted 5 hours after being booked.

Titans cornerback assaulted by girlfriend outside Thompson Hotel

22-year-old Sydney Shutters was charged with domestic assault after she threw a phone and lunged at her boyfriend during a dispute outside of the Thompson Hotel in Nashville. Shutters is the girlfriend of Kareem Orr, a cornerback for the Tennessee Titans.

Teen duo charged with felony burglary of Gatorade from Titan’s locker room

19-year-olds Seth Pickering, of Indiana, and Joshua Meek, of Michigan, are charged with felony burglary after police say they jumped a fence and made their way into the Titan’s Nissan Stadium, made their way down the tunnel into the player’s locker room, and took a 20 bottle of Gatorade from a cooler.

Man who strangled girlfriend twice in Whiskey Row is beaten by stranger until police arrive.

24-year-old Jalen Matthews is charged with the aggravated assault and strangulation of his girlfriend while in Whiskey Row in downtown Nashville. Police say an “anonymous male” who stated he was ‘intervening on the female’s behalf’ and Matthews were in a fight when they arrived. The other male was neither named nor prosecuted.

Ex-Rutgers Player Nadir Barnwell charged with Attempted Murder in Nashville

Nadir Malik Barnwell is currently being held in the Davidson County Jail on a $300,000 bond, charged with attempted criminal homicide. Detective say that just before 3 AM on Monday morning, security video of the Pedestrian Bridge downtown shows Nadir Barnwell, 22, pacing back and forth while the female victim is sitting down near him. Quinton Patton, 27, formerly of the San Francisco 49ers, and currently a free agent in the NFL, was arrested in Nashville on Wednesday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, when police say he attempted to run over the mother of his child, twice. On Friday, Dantwaun O’Neal (aka ‘King Twaun’), known for his TSU Football career, was arrested for a felony & two misdemeanors, in addition to an outstanding warrant from last October.
