Alec Kolar charged with assaulting security guard while stealing liquor from downtown bar

DCSO employee Robert Runnels was working security at a downtown bar when he says he observed 24-year-old Alec Kolar from Wisconsin attempting to steal two bottles of Whiskey from the 2nd-floor bar. Kolar made it to the staircase with the bottles, where Runnels took them away from him. He attempted to stop Kolar from fleeing but was unable to detain him and says Kolar pushed him. Actual police officers were notified, and they were able to follow Kokar over the pedestrian bridge, where he was taken into custody. Kolar was reportedly intoxicated, slurring his speech, very irate, and making threats against transporting officers. Runnells signed the warrant as a private citizen prosecutor on the assault, and Metro prosecuted on the theft and public intoxication. Kolar is free on pre-trial release.

DUI: Man has 5 drinks at downtown bar before crashing car on way home — Bohlt Hamrick 0.166 BAC

23-year-old Bohlt Hamrick told police he had around 5 drinks at a #DowntownNashville bar Wednesday night, a mix of both beer and liquor, before he began the drive home. Police and medics would find him extremely intoxicated in a crashed car on Riverbank Drive, where a home security camera captured him speeding down Stone Hall Blvd, striking a curb, and coming to rest in the intersection. He told police he “was just driving home” in the neighborhood, however, he lives in a neighborhood approximately 8 miles away. After field sobriety tests, Hamrick submitted to a breathalyzer, where he blew a 0.166 BAC – over double the legal limit. He was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with DUI / driving under the influence. He is free on pre-trial release.

Alec Raines, owner of Hendersonville’s “Painting With A Twist” was arrested in Nashville around 3AM on Saturday morning, and charged with public intoxication. According to the MNPD, on 02/24 they responded to a report of a male who was so intoxicated that he was having a hard time trying to walk down the street. Felon Chloe Malek Risks 10 Year Prison Term by Using a Forged ABC Card to Serve Alcohol

Chloe Shahrzad Malek, who is already serving a suspended 10 YEAR TDOC Prison sentence on probation (community corrections) for felony drug charges, has risked it all by using a forged ABC Server card at her job.
